This was the song Oasis Valley theme at first, but it didn't really fit the vibe so Figburn and MasterSwordRemix took over and composed the final version that you can hear in game, which was a very good move in hindsight, fits much better.
I was always very proud of this one and decided to post it here so it doesn't become lost media lol

Feels like one of those songs I'd just sit and vibe to after playing, I'd definitely feel no need to leave the area and would go out of my way to talk to every NPC specifically to hear the full song
This feels like it would fit a beach level really well
Thank you so much for sharing these unused songs here! I agree that the final Oasis BGM fits the location a lot better, but the fact that this banger went completely unused in the game is such a shame, I could totally imagine this playing in the second part of the desert (between the end of the mines and the cowboy town except the oasis, obviously)
I'm just happy this is getting released as it is wonderful to listen to, but I agree it wouldn't have fit well in the final product.
I think this would have been really cool to hear when leaving Oasis Valley instead of Vigorous Terrain. Just as a neat change of scenery, because the areas of the Wild East after Oasis Valley seem a little less hectic. Love your work, I learned about you through TerminalMontage and was super excited to hear you worked on the soundtrack for UTY(I was late to the party and didn't know it existed until it released). Anyway, keep up the good work, and I hope you get to work on more stuff like this in the future!
I do love this track, feels like a good blend to reflect the "in-between point" for the Dunes and the Wild East. I can understand why the calmer, vacation-like vibe of the final was chosen though.
It's been so cool to follow this project over the last several years. I remember being introduced to it when you posted the Decibat theme all those years ago and being hooked on it after subbing for some of your other remixes. The game came out so well, happy to have been able to follow along. (:

Damn, this shit goes hard as fuck man. One of the biggest reasons I liked to keep up with this game’s soundtrack was because you were on it, and you and the other composers did a fantastic job on the music here! Also nice that you are getting more traction because of this game, you’re supremely underrated man!
Can I just say, you and the rest of the team made an amazing game! The only thing I personally didn't like was the big difficulty curve towards the end. (Still, it was great)

Could use a bit of the Justice Motif (unless I just didn't notice it was there already) but as is it is amazing. While it may not fit in the best with Oasis it has some great vibes. Perhaps it could be used for something else. 💛
And goddamn it, why do I always accidentally unsubscribe when I try to save it in my playlist?
This woulda slapped as a Starlo Genocide fight theme. He sees himself the hero and just as a badass theme plays that sounds like a movie soundtrack.
