That’s if you get shield. You still have to be lucky to draw it, and there is only 2 copies. So if you have a big deck your won’t get to protect yourself very often. And your opponent that’s doing most of the attacking could get instead. If you want a defense, then your better off with moat then shield.
The comment at 5:21 is incorrect. Puzzle Box puts the card in your hand *after* you draw for your next turn. First draw the full, normal 5 cards. Then put the set aside card in your hand.
Thanks for letting me know, with so many cards I was bound to get a couple wrong. Oh and so you do get that card plus 5. So you have 6 cards for your next hand. Which then means your more vulnerable to cutthroat and other militia variants. And dang that means someone could purchase maelstrom twice, to make you trash 2 cards thanks to puzzle box’s ability.
