Why are people complaining about the Note 8 being an S8 but with S Pen? Samsung already brought that sleek Infinity display, along with Bixby, you're all expecting too much, give them a damn break, they deserve it.
For whatever reason people want to upgrade after only 1 year or even few months. And I am here sitting with my iPhone 4 just looking for a good overall phone and Note 8 looks very close to that. Im only concerned about the potential lag

As always, my go to guy gives a great review. I love my S8 plus. But the note is always a step up. I would've never gave up my note 7 if they wouldn't have sent that annoying warning message, that pooped up every time u opened your phone. I'm getting that Note 8 by all means. The Note series is the greatest series on the planet. They are the evolution of Smartphones. Thanks Saf!

I'll be getting a note8. I'm still using Note3. Note4 wasn't enough of an improvement. I didn't like Note5, it was a stupid and flawed design IMO. Note7 was of course a disaster. I'd still like to be able to swap batteries and put the micro SD card inside. It's probably this one. Only other possibility would be LG V30 but it has no pen.

note8 has better battery optimization than s8+. ome reason why it outperformed the s8+ during a battery test

If you don't want to make use of its other benefits anyway it's the wrong phone for you. In this case there's no better, just a better suited.
- Improved camera (not only dualcam, there's more)
- SPen (Takes up some battery space, for me way more worthwile)
- Improved translating features aswell as currency conversion
- Instant notes thanks to always on display
- Draw images and send them as GIFs (whatever)
- Nice to handle multitasking
- Slightly better noticable fingerprint sensor, still annoying position (first world problems...)
If you don't mind the bucks a very attractive phone for private aswell as office use in my opinion.
Nico Monaco the camera is the same hardware model number, so yeah its the exact same camera.
the zoom camera is new, but it's sensor isn't as sharp as the main camera, so my fear is that cropped main camera shots might be better images than the lesser quality zoom lens uncropped. waiting for actual pictures to verify this one tho.

Onii Fam this is so old but basically Samsung’s Note series has also been known for its stylus and more business style layout. It’s not got much in difference you are correct, but it’s Samsung’s own sort of S series. The stylus also adds a lot more features for the phone. I have used iOS and Android so idrc about which one I get. Hope that made sense.

The S8+ is cheaper and almost just as good performance wise as the Note 8; thus more tempting to buy.
However, I just really like the looks and blue color and s-pen and dual camera and bigger screen of the Note 8.
I guess it is a good idea to spend all of my college money (with Note 5 trade in) on it.
I'm sure it will at least last me 2 years, but hopefully 3-4 years (have had 2 phones since 2013 and haven't broken/lost any)
For what I spent to buy the Note 5, its like I virtually bought the Note 8 for $800 10 months ago

I had the Iphone 7 plus from october 2016 to july 2017... I liked some things but i hated that in canada Apple put a weaker wifi modem in it, because of that i could never connect to public wifi... and my data was being eaten like crazy and i have no idea why... so i went back to samsung... i got the s8+ and love it way more over Iphone 7plus. But i don't hate apple... they have some good features that i do miss from my Iphone

It's called comformity, nobody likes to be the strange guy so they buy an iPhone because everyone has one and the fact of you not having an iPhone might seem weird to some people, those who don't care (like me) get a Samsung because they know what samsung has to offer. Both phones are good but apple has a bigger reputation, just wait, wait until Samsung gets a name for itself and starts attracting more people, when that happens there will be les wars and less fanboys, but until then, there will be a war of who has the best flagship.
