"Unfortunately they started to talk" had me in tears lmao
I think there is literally like 12 people who are upset because of women, lesbians etc.. the rest of us are just frustrated for all of the same reasons you are, bad writing, bad characters and motivations, lore breaking material. We just get casted as bigots and misogynist because that’s the only way they know how to discredit our criticisms. We just want Star Wars to be fun and exciting again.
Agreed… @John Campa is right, movies should be the main focus moving forward.
@rileylopez113 First, there are a lot more than just "12 people" who are upset about women, lesbians, etc. Second, not saying the show is perfect but what some consider bad writing and bad characters actually boils down to them not really paying attention. Third, just because someone isn't complaining about women and minorities doesn't automatically mean they are coming from a place of good faith.
I think we have to be honest; The Acolyte is NOT being judged by the same standard because they are women and minorities as the leads. There is thing called unconscious bias where you can impose unfair bias without even realizing it. Not saying that everyone who doesn't like The Acolyte suffer from unconscious bias, but we can't pretend that unconscious bias isn't a thing.
I don’t know what to say if you don’t think ep 5 was fun and exciting for a SW fan. I don’t know how you’re defining that because ep 5 was nothing but fun and exciting. The highest level of fun and exciting that any of the live-action shows has produced. Writing and logic, that may be different, but fun and exciting? hmmm
@@jamesmarquezdev it’s not fun and exciting if I don’t care about the characters and where the story is going. All I saw were a bunch of monks swinging around glow sticks. It was cool but it meant nothing.
@@rileylopez7113 You’re describing the prequels.
How this show have 83% critic rating? All the critics I watch hate it
The people you watch aren’t critics, they’re TH-cam grifters.
Because the critics rated it after watching the first two episodes. They are just too lazy to revisit and revise their ratings as more episodes come out.
@@kylequestGood point ✅
If you're still going by critic and audience ratings then you probably still believe in Santa Claus.

In one scene, earlier in the episode, the Sith literally tells Sol that he won't remove his helmet because Sol will read his mind...Fine. Not TEN MINUTES LATER, are we really expected to believe that Sol, the telepath, can't tell that he's actually now with Mae and not Osha?!?😵💫
He's not a telepath, he's a Force user. But I do agree with your point. Also, does the cortosis helmet work like Magneto's helmet, blocking mind reading?
Not all the Jedi have the same strengths. We don't know if Sol actually has that ability (it's actually quite rare among Jedi), and neither did the dude saying it. But he didn't want to take any chances.
I took it as Mae completely changed what she was going to do. Once the Wookie Jedi was dead and her sister was there, everything changed. She didn't want to be handcuffed, since Osha was in danger from her "master" and people like her don't like help and think they are the only ones capable of saving who they love.
Then she decided to infiltrate the Jedi order since she couldn't convince Osha that the Jedi were lying to her. Perhaps, she is infiltrating the Jedi to expose them and thus win back Osha's love.
A sith lord that can float, and easily fight a group Jedi, ranging from master to padawan, cannot do shit if a flashlight is stuck to his back. Force cannot touch it, lightsaber cannot touch it. It's invincible. Yord keeping his lightsaber on looks super lame. Osha and Mae's "Don't choose them, choose me." convo was super gringe.
Episodes 4 and 5 should've been one episode combined
The whole bug thing was a set up and payoff that belonged within the same episode.
Combined it would have been right around 52 minutes without credits. Which is right around a HoD episode. No idea why they didn't just do that.
@stephenb.5304 cuz they'd only have 3 or 4 episodes. Cuz they don't have a real show. It's a stretched out movie. Episode 3 should have been a 10 or 15 minute flashback of a long movie. Maybe split into several parts over the 1st half of the movie.
@@davidstansbury9309 Honestly I would have no issue with 4 50+ minute episodes. Wouldn't be enough to save this show but it would be way more watchable
It really is like CW Star Wars. That this was approved and passed any sort of quality control speaks volumes.
My thing is this: Qimir should be the main antagonist and Sol the main protagonist.
Seriously, why are the twins here? Why do they exist? In no way have I been interested in ANYTHING to do with the twins
The show should bare bones be this:
Sol is investigating a string of Jedi assassinations with qimir ultimately being revealed as the sith acolyte working for a sith lord. That is it.
This show should be a detective/who done it thriller. Instead we are dicking around with witches. WHY!?
The use of and affect on children is kind of the point. Nothing works for everyone.
@@jasonbusch8475 I agree with you on that../
Carrie Anne Moss seemed cool for the 30 seconds she was in the show too, lol. Even Jeckie and Yord grew more interesting this episode. A show centered around Sol/Qimir with Carrie Anne Moss, Jeckie, Yord, and just make Osha a Jedi padawan too I guess would've been OK.
I'm so tired of bad writers
Well when they hire based on a checklist and that checklist has nothing to do with talent this is what we get.
Manny's character knew it wasn't Mae at the end of the episode. It's very obvious.
You're not really talking about what actually happened, especially when The Stranger revealed himself. He did say "I have no name. A Jedi like you might call me Sith." I don't see what was bro about that and we can't be totally sure what's going on with him yet. Similar thoughts with Mae. She only changed her mind because she found out Osha was alive. The twins had different outfits on; after that battle he might have been glad to have Osha back. That's not that crazy either. Not perfect but not crazy. This kind of feels like the rest of the bro "cuz writing" takes all over the net. This show is twisting and turning episode to episode. We can't say for sure what happened until the story plays out.
bro the show is garbaaaaageeee stop making excuses for it... if we weren't fans of star wars we wouldnt even watch this garbageee we are forced to watch it to see it's good.
@@CodingPhase seeing things the way I'm seeing them are excuses and your way of seeing things is the right way. Sounds like you think you know what you're talking about. All I saw from you is "show garbage...attack me....then more nothing". You didn't even have depth enough to make excuses for why you think it's garbage. What your saying isn't enough. It's an option and a losing tactic, nothing more. At least Campea here has coherent reasons why he's saying what he's saying. I don't see it that way but, I'll be the first to admit that with this show, a call can't be made until everything plays out. Best one can do is say yes or no they're enjoying the journey so far. Anything more you think yourself omnipotent or gave some inside knowledge to how all the different mysteries will play out. If I were a betting man, you have none of those things. Just try to pummel people with the word "garbage" and oh "bad writing just cuz" without an explanation.
@@taylormadealphawell said. I for one am enjoying the acolyte and I wish to see how it plays out till the end before I make a final verdict on it.
He makes some valid points but going to ride it out. Only 3 episodes left.
But John, the dialog is very similar to what you get out of Dave Filoni in his animated series Rebels or Clone Wars. Think what has happen is that they have not made the transition from animation which is a kids show to live action which more for adults.
Was rewatching the Bad Batch Season 2, episode 12, The Outpost before Acolyte. Miles above and not dumbed down at all. Highly recommend!!
I remember when John said Sith was never mentioned and never broke cannon uh oh
The only way that would break canon is if any of these people make it back to report this stuff to the Jedi Council to hear that’s there’s a Sith running around. So you’re kind of jumping the gun on that one
The writing is terrible. The overall premise is good. Was expecting this series to be so much darker. Almost Andor level, given it was announced around the same time. My theory anyway is that he is trying to find an Acolyte to overthrow his master (rule of 2). Ultimately he kills Mae, Osha, and Sol, so they Council never learn that it was the Sith. His master finds out that he was trying to overthrow him and kills him in the final episode. Then we find out his master is Darth Plageuis.
That would actually be pretty cool if that's what happens.
If you haven't already and want GREAT writing in a Sci-Fi, go watch The Expanse
And 3 body problem
@@martincrabtree7378 definitely
I get why she flipped on Master and still attacked Jeki.
“I about to have to kill a Forceful Wookiee, *hand to hand*?!? I’m gonna die…but I just learned Osha is alive. I have no reason for revenge now and the Jedi can protect me, so there’s hope for survival in that direction.”
Her working assumption trying to turn herself in was, “Master can’t get here without a guide; now’s my chance to use Jedi protection to escape.”
End of last episode: “He’s HERE…”
The fear in that line, said a LOT, for me.
She got to shoot her shot with Osha, after Master flew off; but if she just lets Jeki arrest her while he’s still at large she’s done for…
You can justify anything if you try hard enough lol. It's bad writing.
@@JR-nq7mcI’ll agree they could have done it better…
@@ryanlittle5919I'm glad you enjoyed the show, but pls don't try to justify the high school level writing on this show
Seeing Qimir as the master isn't some intended twist. There is no alternative presented and he's introduced early with heavy foreshadowing. Minus the flashback episode the time of reveal between us learning of a master and his helmet coming off is like an hour of content?
That being said, merely knowing that his face is under the mask doesn't give us any real insight into who he is. We can assume he's affiliated with the mother but I'm interested in seeing more into what is driving his personal motivations.
Wait. What. Are we talking about the same show?
It was very unlucky that the twin episodes for HOTD and Acolyte happened in the same week. HOTD just did it so much better.
It felt like my intelligence was being insulted by this week's episode, like they were writing down to the audience or that they were writing for children.
In fact, that may be Star Wars' main problem is that they are writing for children instead of adults, and that's why longtime SW fans are so disappointed. Star Wars is supposed to make us feel like kids again, not make us feel like it was written for kids.
George Lucas wrote Star Wars for 12 year olds.
@@hoos3014 and yet, no one thought it was a kids movie when it was first released. "Empire" certainly wasn't a kids movie, but when "Return" was released, I was disappointed with how hard Lucas went toward inserting kid stuff into the movie. I hated the Ewoks, at first, but now I tolerate them because the rest of the movie is so great. If the IP can't evolve into one for adults, I may be done with Star Wars for good.
@@j.jennings1722 People knew ANH was a kids movie when there was a monster in the trash compactor.
In ESB, our Wookie mechanic screws C3PO's head on backwards.
In ROTJ the master bounty hunter gets yeeted into the sarlac pit by a half blind Han Solo.
Star Wars is great in its own right, but let's not pretend we're talking we're talking about the Godfather here.
@@hoos3014 the trash compactor scene didn't feel that way at the time, on the big screen. Star Wars made adults feel like kids again. There weren't a bunch of kids going to the original Star Wars, when it was first released. It was mostly adults at the theater, along with teens who then returned 30 times to see the movie. Back then, kids watched Disney movies, and teens were wild AF.
I LOVED the fights (some of the best moves I've seen in SW) but nothing else. Still, I'm interested to see where this is going and I'm kinda intrigued.
I agree with John on one of his points is to take Star Wars into the future. Like way into the future so that writers can have freedoms to not be connected to Star Wars canon. Start fresh. This universe has to be bigger than a Skywalker story, Rey story or prequels.
Star wars has little ambition. Sadly the poor reception to this show may spook them
I can't believe the Stoner from the Good Place is the Sith Lord. Darth Bong
The action was cool, but this is definitely hyperbole. If I’m calling anything “top notch” or “absolutely amazing,” to me that’s saying it’s like top 10 or 20 of something EVER. No one, and I’m sure even John if we visited the Campea Classroom and he did a ranking list, would truly have the combat here that high up compared to everything he’s seen. Not saying it’s bad, but it’s not Kill Bill.
you can't compare sword fights to light saber fights. One exists, one doesn't.
I agreed with the majority John.. but I 100% believe Master Sol knows that it wasn’t Osha!
Whose whining about gays & girls? All legit complaints are about story & lore
@@YoungMaster_626I dont care about a gay person or trans person in Star Wars as long as their their sexual preference doesnt become the character's sole identity.
Unfortunately I have to disagree with John about the combat. I thought the blocking and composition of the scenes was really poorly done. It was mostly in the dark, the setting was bland and boring and there are many scenes where you can barely see what was going on. Yes, there are some excellent 'moments' such as the Dafne Keen dual wielding. Aldo, action is important not just for action's sake, but as a storytelling process, and unfortunately, given the fact that we do not care about any of these characters, reveals and deaths have little to no impact!
Pretty sure once her master arrived, all of mae's plans went out the window and she just wanted to get out of there lmao
I was prepared to disagree with you but you made a lot of solid points. Honestly Qimir and Sol are the only reason I'm watching and I heard someone say it should be about them and I agree because they are the only interesting characters.
Disney Star Wars has been dead to me long before this . I don’t think they can ever get me back.
😂 bye bye
Like Darth Vader stated, " Nooooooooooooo."
John, I think Sol knows that Mae is pretending to be Osha. Because he hesitated in a way that looks like he knows when he saw her. I just think he's playing along for the time being and we'll find out in the next episode that he knew all along.
Episode 5 of "How to properly dislike the Acolyte tv show"
Well we seeing reports of adults and their kids after seeing this episode playing in their lawns with their lightsabers. Hey maybe you can be the crazy old man yelling "get off lawn". LOL🤣
@Madame702 Not sure what your comment has to do with mine but a little FYI. That was happening before this last episode or even this series
"Unfortunately, they started to talk" hahahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAAAAAHAAAA! Oh John! Ahhh. Whew. Perfect.
The power of one…
The power of two…
The power of Mannnnnnny…Jacinto.
I'm amused that Kristian Harloff without didn't want the Sith to be the Other Mother and Campea thought that the Other Mother would be a Cool Twist
There's people on the right who will complain about lesbians and women starring in their favourite shows but I think that's a huge minority of them. For people on the left like John I think it's a cop out to prefix every critisism of this show (or any which has clear terrible writing) with "for those who hate lesbians and the gaaayysss". It's poor man
You think they would be happy they killed off Padawan Jecki, and all the Lesbian space witches.
@@Madame702 I don't think you understood this comment you replied to

@@aaronknautz7364 I thought light saber fights were good, costumes good, most cg good.
They made the Squid Game guy look like a dumbest Jedi ever in the end of this episode. 🤣
That’s hilarious, after watching the episode I said “there are those who call me… Sith?” 😂
it would be really funny if it turns out his name is Sith. He didn't say "a Sith" - he said "Sith". ;)
Honestly, I just feel like they should've adapted the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon story for this.
"I sense great fear in you, Osha. You have hate. You have anger. And, you've used them...Mae!"
I’m thinking Sol was either to distraught or he knows and is just playing along. The Sith knew that was Osha, he even looked at the tattoo on her arm. He wanted to kill Mae, but is going to see what Osha has.
Really think Disney needs to appoint FX’s head content producer and have them become head organizer of content for Disney+. It’s clear that what they are doing on Disney+ for content isn’t working and that FX is there golden goose in terms of quailty content.
I know I'm not feeling it when two main characters die and i don't really care, not even a sniffle let alone a tear.
I actually enjoyed this episode a lot. It still has its share of problems (bad editing, bad acting from Mae/Osha, etc.) but I'm surprisingly still invested. I want to know what really happened the night of the fire. I want to know if Qimir is working directly with someone else.
"I’m Done"
I'm getting there myself with the people talking about it.
Hey John. Please stop complaining about the fans who hate girls etc being in Star Wars. It's only 10% of fans that are being loud. It's a distraction from the vast majority that agree with you that the show is bad for many other reasons. Please stop parroting what the Disney execs are saying.
The people bringing up girl bosses, lesbians, and other progressive elements are not simply blaming the poor quality of the show on them. They are highlighting these as evidence that hiring, casting, and writing decisions are not being made based on merit but rather for an agenda, and the quality of the show is suffering as a result. They are criticizing the writing just as much.
John’s point, and he is correct, is that the show isn’t suffering because of its “progressive elements.” It’s suffering because of bad writing. Andor had many of the same “progressive elements,” but it was superbly written and directed, so no serious person was whining about the “agenda.”
Action was the best so far but only when compared within this series alone. Compared to Prequels, it was okay... OT had more emotional impact and Prequels was peak SW lightsaber dueling.
I’m a huge Star Wars fan and I’m really disappointed because the combat/choreography is fantastic! However the dialogue is cheap and the story is all over the place.
Submit your script.
So weird... I just listened to Jeremy Jahns say how bad the fights were. 🤔
Same lol
Jeremy Jahns just lazy grifting this show. Half of the things he's saying aren't even correct.
This show would suck just as much if ryan gosling was the main character. Why dont people who care about diversity in film rip disney for doing such a poor job of telling interesting stories with diverse casts? Instead of defending disney and the shows no matter what. Wouldn't you want to demand better roles/shows for diverse people you claim to want to be in this universe? Why mad at conservatives on twitter? Be mad a disney for doing a horrible job. Instead of always defending them no matter what. "Oh disney tweet pride flag. Me defend multinational corporation. Must consume slop. More slop please."

I generally agree with John, however I’m still going to watch just because I like to be in the know but the show is just okay for me at best. Especially when you have a show like house of the dragon being released during the same time of year that you can compare with… I think the difference is HotD you can tell is a show that’s career defining for every department working on it.. the actors, writers, directing, show runners all know this is big time and you can tell with after the episode interviews to the little details with cinematography and dialogue how serious everyone is taking it. Whereas the acolyte you can tell is just kinda a going through the motion type project, and that’s perfectly ok… no one expects greatness from everything released in Hollywood.. and you can still enjoy and watch things you know are not amazing
Why would you want some random ass person as Mae’s master? Call me crazy for wanting to get to know the villain before episode 5/8. It wouldn’t have been satisfying at all if it was just some rando.
Seeing all this talk about The Acolyte on both extreme side its reminding me so much of the South Park Pandaverse episode 🤣
This and the previous episode should have been one hour long episode. I was prepared to step out after Episode 3 but the last two kind of worked for me so I‘m gonna keep watching

The blaming of one…
The blaming of two…
The blaming of many…
There’s plenty of narrative purpose to the action…it’s just not a narrative you guys are enjoying. I’m still holding out hope they explain why Mae is so wish washy. Also, Sol is definitely going to figure out she isn’t Osha real quick. He was a bit preoccupied at the end of this episode…and she was probably doing her best Osha impersonation both physically and mentally.
R we just forgetting that mae has a giant brand on her forehead that osha doesnt?? Like thats kinda huge tell that sol just happened to miss.... i feel the writers forgot that was a thing too
Sol knows. He's playing along for now. Watch him when he sees Mae pretending to be Osha.

So badly written and plotted
I agree with a lot of what you’re saying but I’m a completist. I have to see this through to the end.
🫡
I’ve always feel that the dialogue was the weakest link. It’s as if the writers of these episodes didn’t speak English as their first language. It’s like they don’t understand the nuances of our language

This video in a nutshell 🤣
I must have said, "Oh come on!" 10 times during this episode. Sol totally should have sensed that was not Osha. AND all the other interesting Jedi are now dead. 🙄
He could sense the sith. Distracted or not it was sloppy writing. Also what are the motivations of the central protagonists? I honestly cannot tell.
4:28 The thing is, when the shows clearly heavily prioritize and market the first, it is a great indication that the second will also be there.
I like the show, but I will agree, the character of Mae these last few episodes has been…so weird…
"...he gets in your head."
No. I think Qimir is well aware that's Osha. But Sol should know better & doesn’t.
Qimir I don't think is the true master nor part of the traditional Sith lineage (hemce the "you might call me a Sith). But everything else you said is spot on.
I am really enjoying the show. Just don't watch it if you hate it so much.
I think they all die. Because no one has contacted the council about a sith being around. As in the phantom menace a Jedi master saying there the sith hasn't been around in a millennium
maybe its a double reverse fake out and Mae is the Sith master
If that is the case, I am fully intrigued...
There's almost nothing you can do narratively with twins that hasn't been done a million times. Mistaken identity is the laziest one.
Lol I don't think the Sith guy thinks he came across "his" twin, because the twin he came across still has her original hairstyle. Now if I watch next week's episode and he somehow thinks that was "his" twin then I might have to stop watching 😅
Dear son. If qimir thought it was mae, he would have killed her instantly. He spent half the episode trying to end her.
John was referring to how easily the Sith guy can tell the difference but Master Sol couldn't even though Osha pretty much grew up with the Jedi.
@@Dru2037 sol knows too. He didn't ask where is osha. He asked: where is your sister?....

Is the Acolyte Lucasfilm's attempt at engagement bait? It's getting a lot of publicity for people hating it and defending it.
I think a relevant part of the fandom is tired of the lack of quality delivered by Disney Star Wars.
The sequel trilogy destroyed beloved characters and broke canon.
Now this series is not only badly written, but it has also broken canon and diminished the prequels, especially Anakin.
So yeah, people have had enough, and are voicing their rejection through Rotten Tomatoes, IMDB, and by cancelling Disney+ subscriptions.
All of the problems you state can be sorted out in hour long episodes...
John, another major logic issue with the ending is Mae has the forehead tattoo from the witches. Cant hide that so easily lol.
Mae got that during the ascension ceremony or whatever it was called during episode 3
Given that we have never seen it on her as an adultnuntil today, where they showednus to xonfirm who she was, I'd say you can hide it.
That is the problem, great fighting action does not matter to me if I don't care about any character that is fighting. It isn't even that I don't care about all the Jedi that died in this episode. In my mind, they aren't even characters! They don't make any sense! They are making random decisions and saying random stuff. They are not even some boring characters I don't care about. They are just nothing to me.
The lightsaber haircut is where they lost me

every time Sol has been talking to Osha and refers to her sister he always does so by name. “Where is Mae?” at the end of this episode he doesn’t do that for the first time. he says “Where is your sister?” so i wouldn’t write off that he didnt sense the girl standing in front of him to not be Osha because there’s still room to claim that he did and is playing coy to Mae’s plan. not to say it’s good writing, but it’s a possibility
cortosis IS NOT new to canon. it has appeared twice before
Day and Night should have been one episode. Qimir in the trailer gave the sith quote about there peace is a lie, no surprise revile there. I do like it a bit more than John.
I was ok with the show through four episodes. It wasn't great but I kept saying it's on par with some good fan fiction videos on TH-cam. I will finish the series, the same as I did with Willow, but it's just bad now. It makes the Vespa gang look like great TV. They just do things. Osha asking what Sol lied about when the Sith could return at any moment makes no sense. Yeah she would want to know but there's no urgency to get out of there
Wow, did Campea miss the whole point of the episode here.
Nobody has been crying about girls/lgbtq, etc. That is merely the built in narrative that the show had to throw out there if they got bad reviews and they are pretending that that is why people are "review bombing" and hating on it

That's a pretty heated reaction to something that's at least partly true; most people complaining about the show are talking about how cringe and terrible it is, some are indeed giving commentary on the prerogative to focus on female and diversity-oriented/lgbtq representation. That's not some crazy conspiracy, they have explicitly stated that, all the way back circa 2014-2016 when they said it back then too. And that would be great, if they actually were telling good stories, with consistency in quality and effort of the writing.
4. This is an admitted petty snipe: you completely messed up your awful Ki-Adi-Mundi video; you missed the entire point of the reason people have issue with that, and you play those oh-so-fun fast and loose ideology with content. "THEY NEVER CONFIRM HIS AGE IN THE MOVIES OR WITH CANON MATERIAL!" despite the fact that literally everything everywhere consistently listed it as it was established before, including DISNEY'S material, which as per their mission statement: every piece of material they produce is All considered to be Canon material unless explicitly stated as not being so (which is pretty much just Visions since that's a literal What-If? series). The problem is that they (Disney) claim to care about the property and it's lore and canon, y'know, the stuff that defines the universe and IP as something unique, and will change it whenever they want just to fit a story, rather than creatively telling a story within the universe and the confines that help drive and define it, guiding the choices in their craft.
5. Official marketing supplemental material is actually canon in the old Star Wars canon tier, ya glizzy ham sandwich. Don't bullshit SW fans who actually know their stuff. Like how George Lucas himself said that the old EU was canonical; it just wasn't canonical to the story that HE wanted to tell, but there were more stories others would tell in the universe he created. Something that Leland Chi has likewise stated in the past, as well as the importance of adhering to canon.
So either you stumbled across that and knew it would sink your battleship of an argument, or you only looked for statements and examples that backed up your assertion and didn't even consider something out there might disprove it harder than frozen carbonite.
@@johncampeaafter episode 7 I’ll concede that it’s a sad day when all the grifters ended up being correct but for the wrong reasons. This show is just terrible
They must be spending a $1m a minute, I just cannot see it on screen. The writing gymnastics they will need to twist the storyline plot to make this, make sense, it going to be of epic proportions.
The obvious get of jail card at moment is Quantum of Sith saying he is like a Sith, and has no name, if he were he'd be knighted a Darth. So am assuming he just wants to be a dark side user.
It’s like moving sh¥t around hoping it will stop smelling 😂
You just want to quit talking about the Acolyte.
Honestly, that's good. People who don't enjoy the show shouldn't talk about it for content. Just stop covering it. If he wants to finish it later and then talk about it, he can. Wish more TH-camrs would stop talking about it if they hate it.
The fight scene was really well done.
While I agree ok sol Danny's charecter wasn't confused he purposely took osha he knew it was her.
Action scenes were ok seen better fan made fight choreography
No, you have not.
Reminds me of those lightsaber TH-cam videos. Great choreography, not so good story. Btw, Ray we are represented with Manny Jacinto! Filipino!
I wish they had given him an actual good story, he's the only character/actor that seems to care at all or have any talent. He was good in this role but a better script makes him great.
Qmir or the “sith” dude is the only thing I’m invested in now at this point. Simply because this could lead to Darth Tenebrous and then Do some real cool stuff with that. But sadly I feel they’re going to just screw it up
The way they are messing up the canon and continuity would suggest they don't even know who Darth Tenebrous even is.
I'm going to ride it out til the end
That hair cutting seen, the sith reveal, the sisters conversation.. The ending.. Who okayed this type of writing in a $180-200mil budgeted star wars project..
The lightsaber fights were awesome, reminded me of those cool youtube fan films..
There's only 3 more episodes to "Hate-Watch". Please do it for your fans!!!
Or even just watch them before final drops...
Action was meh. Too much sabre twirling and weird choices. Disney Star Wars is like something done by children for children.
.....this can't be real. Compare this to any PT movie and there was 100000x more saber twirling. Hell half the mustaphar fight was saber twirling. This action was a lot tighter and less twirling....
George Lucas himself says Star Wars is for kids…
