Broken, old capacitors cause screen flickering and white screen failure. The screen failure of the old phone was repaired in this way. A very useful video.
Thank you very much. I have 2 sets of Panasonic cordless phones with this blank LCD problem, and I managed to fix them using the hint in your video. I did not replace the capacitors because they were tested fine after I removed them from the circuit board. So I soldered them back and it just worked. I am thinking the cause of the blank LCD problem might have been due to moisture or something between the tiny capacitors and the circuit board which affected the capacitance. This might explain why my simply removing the 3 capacitors and soldering them back made it work again.

Hi After removing every capacitor, If it was the wrong one, you connect it again? Is it necessary that for the faulty capacitor, it is connected again?
I had two handsets. Replacing the 4 SMD Caps in one of them worked. In another it did not. Cross-checked soldering etc and pretty sure not my error...but obviously could have been. Capacitors used were 0.47 0609.
Open the lid remove batteries remove the back case and heat the board around the display with a hairdryer for 2 minutes wait to cool and put back the batteries and check it works 100% no need to remove capacitors just heat the area it's very easy try it
I have the same handset KX-TGA931T Remove 1 cap, put battery, display blank, resolder the cap Repeat for next 4 caps, but display still blank... What are the values for each of the caps?

I just used hair dryer and inflicted hot streaming air on board from the back after removing batteries only. It works like magic.

I did not change anything. I just warmed up the phone bord by hair dryer,. Magik happened. Until now, everything has worked fine.
