    When we were serving in Vietnam, the locals would make something like these. After we made them consume a piece first (to make sure it wasn't poisoned), we would dig in.
    Sometimes we would leave a couple wings for the family, but usually we ate it all.
    We were left with full stomachs and _(most of the time)_ they were left with their lives.

      Thank you! Don't use all of it. Just a few tablespoons of the mixture. The rest can be drizzle on other proteins you eat. Great on noodles too!

    What kind of pan are you using?

    • @DeanaThai
      @DeanaThai  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using the pans from my Instant Vortex Airfryer. It comes with two slotted trays and a solid one.

      I meant the pan you used to make the sauce. It looks super non-stick.

    Made this and it's really good :) thank you for the recipe!!! However, the rice syrup is too much and made it to sticky and hard for the teeth, made the second batch with just a little syrup to making it sweet and a little bit sticky and it turns out better!

    I didn’t have rice syrup. Can you still fried the chicken wings in the fish sauce so it coat nicely or just pour it on top of the chicken?

    • @DeanaThai
      @DeanaThai  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can use corn syrup! To achieve the shinny candy glaze, you need golden syrup/ rice syrup/ corn syrup. But it will still taste good drizzled with sweet chili fish sauce by itself. It just won't be a thick sauce.
      Don't forget...*Note for fish sauce wings. DO NOT ADD THE ENTIRE SWEET CHILI SAUCE INTO THE GLAZE! WRITTE RECIPE DIRECTS TO ADD ONLY 6-7 TABLESPOONS OF SWEET CHILI FISH SAUCE WITH RICE SYRUP TO CREATE THE GLAZE. If you all the sweet chili fish sauce, you'll end up with salty wings.

      Sorry to hear that. Did you use 6-7 tablespoon of the sweet chili mixture or the entire mixture? Recipe calls for only 6-7 TABLESPOONS.
