Madame Joao Pires est constamment dans la vérité Mozartienne. Ni trop virile, ni trop féminine, jamais embrouillée mais emphatique, espiègle ou mélancolique quand il se doit. Surtout jamais "pressée d'en finir" comme d'autres...et ce respect de la partition et du génie qui fait qu'elle ne hâtera pour rien au monde le déroulement de l'oeuvre. Grande parce qu'elle sait garder sa place d'interprète sans se substituer au compositeur...C'est aussi bête que cela. Seuls les gens simples et n'aimant pas le tapage sont dignes, et parviennent comme elle, à jouer cette musique car ils sont de la même veine et dans le même état d'esprit qu'un Mozart

Je préfère l'adagio joué par Gould mais en général j'ai bien les interprétations de Pires qui sont bien détaillées et expressives
