The insoles in these shoes are straight up flat. So I went and got New Balance insoles. The difference it made was like night and day. However, be advised, if you do get different insoles, the toe area might feel more snug.

How comfy are those for lifestyle?
Definitely not as comfortable as lets say an ultraboost, but more comfortable than any retro basketball sneaker. As someone who has been spoiled by the recent flood of comfy runners, I was still able to wear these all day with no complaints.
