I haven’t watched it all yet, but I don’t think I will. These mini movies are of course hard work, and it needs inspiration, but. Please, please stop romanticising Mafia. It’s not cool or badass or whatever people have in mind, it’s honestly just disappointing and disrespectful. I didn’t expect this from you, you have many amazing mini movies, but this one really just made me disappointed, I hope you’ll be more careful with these mini movies’ themes.
i agree! also where i live in japan it’s very popular to romatisize mafia and the things a few of my friends dream about are pretty gross! a lot of manga is also influenced by this but they make it romantic when it’s not!

I live in Italy, northern Italy thankfully since mafia is mostly active in the south. romanticizing mafia is disrespectful towards all those people who were killed by the Mafia and their families. we have studied since the first years of school what is Mafia and how it works. there's no pretty boy picking you up and training you to become like them. we studied the story of a 12 year old boy who was taken by the Mafia and he was put into a really tight cell(I'm not sure how is it called) for years, barely eating, barely breathing decent air and barely getting out, until he finally died.
