Man I just found this channel like 2-3 days ago and it's one of my favorites on TH-cam. Shame to see it's out of production now. I'd like to see more of the crazy old Aussie man, I don't care if it's about rhymes or not.
Great, thanks for getting that song stuck in my head, I will be doing some hive inspections today and will be singing that ruddy song ha. The bee girls will either be calm or or suddenly attack 🤣 I love how you add little bits onto these "investigations" great job
@@TrueRhymes wait a minute when I did the Google search of the Barney the dinosaur I love you song I noticed that the Barney, I love you song from Barney and friends was based off of this old man and I was shocked when I found out
@nicodimatteo at first, I thought to myself "what?" and then it clicked and now my inner dialog is going "uh oh, oh no" lol cause now I'll never think of one song without the other... so yeah, um... thank you..? For that??? 😅
"Give the dog a bone" meant something a bit different for me growing up. But then again, dad told rhymes like: " Old mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to fetch Ol' Rover a bone. But when she bent over, Ol' Rover, he drove her. He had a bone of his own."
Guinness ( Irish landowners like Mahon , Tilney , , Bingham etc )was still producing beer from grain during the famine and 10 pints of that was enough to eend anyone rolling home . Paddy is the English pronunciation for the Irish name Padroig or Patrick
You just know whoever said "So long as Pope Henry the wife murderer doesn't dissolve the pubs I don't think we should have a problem" was drunk when he said it. It just sounds like something you say when you're drunk and regret when you sober up. That's not something against the Irish I've got Irish and English blood.
The speaker has just not spoken of who is d old man and what is he doing wd children's parts of bodies and y... Just spoke of some divorce law and history... I sat through the whole thing...

You remind me of Uncle Billy from "It's a Wonderful Life" .

Hello mark and John from county cavan, Ireland
Hey! I hope we didn't do too bad with telling the story
I remember my parents telling me that most or if not all nursery rhymes are rooted in violence.

Come back mam😕
We'll be back with a new season in the new year :)
Are you going to be doing anymore?,

@@TrueRhymes woo hoo!

Great, now make a video about the origins of the pejorative "bloody" that Brits use so pervasively.
That No.9 thing is creepy.
The original Holodomor
Hearth is pronounced like "heart" with "h" on the end, not 'herth'".
