It is such comfort to be checked out by a dr. when you're feeling like that. What a mystery why it started and stopped but it most likely, as you said, your body accommodating baby. Glad your're feeling better! I love that you Don are reading to the baby...what a bonding time for the 3 of you. :)
I know she is careful and respectful, but sometimes she gives us sneak peeks at decor and generals.... I love her respect she maintains for everyone
I put headphones on my tummy for my kids I swear its what made my son so clever also its good to pick one soothing song as well as classical that way when they are born when your trying to get them to sleep you can put it down low in the background so they feel secure as they fall asleep!

Was looking forward to your answer on your baby shower because that is such a fun part of pregnancy! I also knew about and pretty much planned mine! Mostly women at our shower but, we had a small room for close men in our family! I didn't realize how many things you would need for baby until I started doing my registry! You look great and I'm glad you are feeling better!

I don t know if it the same for you , but when I was pregnant I could laugh or cry of anything and anywhere, lol..it is the hormons.

I am also 26 weeks and on my 25 week I had a strange achy pain on top of my belly bottom only on my left side. I got checked and they run tests because it lasted me over a week. Thank God they didn't find anything and the pain went away by itself. I didn't feel good after the glucose test at all either!!
Will you vlog the baby shower ? And show what you received as gifts ?

I'm starting my 39th week on Saturday and I can tell you I thought I had urine infection like each week. In my country you have your blood and urine test every month in your pregnancy and it was always perfectly fine so it's probably the baby growing. I can't wait to see my Baby Boy. I'm praying for a smooth delivery. Hope you and your Girl will feel great too.

I feel so relieved that all is still going well for you Jen and you and baby girl are a-ok :) I was so worried when I visited here and your pregnancy vid was showing as private and then I saw on your snapchat vid you were feeling worried, I was concerned for you but so happy that it's ok! How exciting you're now in the home stretch, won't be long now :) and you'll soon have a 21 year old like me ;) hehehe well maybe time won't fly by that quickly but wait and you'll see ! You will be thankful for these sleepless nights when baby comes. It really DOES prepare you for getting up and nursing two-three times a night when baby is here.
Your aversion to fish is like how my aversion to beef was when I was pregnant. It did let up towards the end of my third trimester and I actually had some beef. And then AFTER my baby was born all I wanted was beef!!! lol I cannot tell you how many cheeseburgers I've ate in the last almost 4 months! hahaha
Can you do a video showing us the products that you used to use and compare it (as far as categories) to the ones you are using now, now that you are more conscious of the chemicals in them? For example, old toner vs new toner, old SPF vs new SPF? Anything beauty/skin are related. Thank you!!!

I was wondering if you were planning to do a belly cast near the end of your pregnancy? If you decide to do one maybe you could show the finished cast and talk about your experience with the product you had chosen to use? Loving these weekly updates.

I had the same urinating pain during this pregnancy too. It seems like it happened around when the bladder was moving to give the baby more space. I am also experiencing less round ligament pain this time but mine seems more above the groin area and not on the sides. Like when I lift my leg to put on pants or socks. It also just comes and goes. I bet you were feeling more along the lines of that stuff.

As an R.N. I can imagine the changes you are experiencing...you are a winner... the Baby will be a Beauty!
If you're going to breast feed, an electric breast pump is handy. My daughter (mom of soon to be 7) swears by it. It was convenient to have bottles available when grandparents were watching the babies.
Jen, this is very common, it's the ligaments stretching. I had it with both my pregnancies. Your pregnancy reminds me a lot of mine anyway, since I also had bleeding in the beginning. Both my babies were born completely healthy and fine. The second pregnancy you get more familiar with these feelings and learn to blow it off. You are doing fine, and look beautiful. Also, your hair looks thicker, don't you love those prenatal vitamins! :) The big day will be here before you know it!

You are such a planner (and shopper) and have been wanting to get pregnant for so long, that it really surprises me that you hadn't already decided what products and nursery things you wanted by now. My question for next week is do you feel superstitious about planning and buying early, or did you just not have time to? Or are you not that into putting the room together, buying baby things, ect? The third trimester is SO exciting. You can really start to see the finish line now!
I don't doubt she's super excited about having a baby though because she most definitely is! I myself have always been obsessed with baby stuff and couldn't stop buying things, esp baby girl clothes, so I am curious why she doesn't seem to be. Not that it's wrong or anything!

Deb I guess my real question is why she hadn't spent the last couple years looking into nursery ideas and baby gear and stuff. That just seems more like her personality.
+Debbie Prins I don't think she really wanted to, I think they wanted to relax and actually be having a baby first before they looked at things for a baby. Why would you spend money on baby things until you knew that a baby was on the way?

With regard to the body products, just make sure what you slather on your skin is as natural as possible even AFTER baby is born. Remember baby will be inhaling what you put on your skin because she will be so close to you when you hold her. So think about eliminating any synthetic fragrance and such. :)
+Minnie Magoo Yeah these irritants can be in the places you least expect it because you are so used to using a certain product that you don't think twice about it. Glad to hear your baby got better! :)

In the blog post pictures, the 26 week picture looks like your hair is longer/more voluminous :) Maybe its just the picture. But a related question...are you noticing any difference in your hair/skin/nails? Healthier?

My son was born at just barely 27 weeks and he was 14" and 2lb 4oz so I can pretty much picture exactly how big your baby girl is
Just wait until the baby comes and your sleep is horrible each night, usually baby will wake up every couple hours.

That's the neatest bump I have ever seen super cute. You are positively glowing being pregnant definitely is a good look for you. The time seems to be speeding away it doesn't mean two minutes since you did the pregnancy announcement vlog.
What is the average length of stay in an American hospital when you have a baby all being well? Is conventional maternity the usual i.e. delivery suite and then a hospital room or will you be looking at a birthing suite and staying in there after your daughter is born? Try to stay in hospital to get as much rest as you can, don't be in too much of a hurry to rush home!
Oh how time flies by! Can't wait to see your baby girl :)
I have loved watching your video's, I wanted to ask if you have gotten any stretch marks and what are you using if anything. when do you think the babies room will be ready you are getting further along and I here it is harder to be able to pull it all together.
+Randi Green Our furniture might not actually arrive until after she is born so it might not be done before she gets here, but that's ok because she's going to sleep in a bassinet in our room for a little while.
So adorable that Winnie is so quiet the whole time.

Maybe when you do snapchat you can have don hold the camera and you can show us the baby bump.
Do you plan on having your parents &/or Don's parents at your house to help you with things? My sister and her first husband came to my parents house after both her children were born. I was still in high school when she had both her babies and still living at home. I know a lot of couples either go to their parents house or have their parents come to their house and stay. And they try to get help from different family members so everyone can have time to spend with the baby and family and the responsibility doesn't fall on one person for doing all the helping out. I remember it was me, my parents, my aunt, cousin, and grandfather all pitched in to help my sister and new baby.

How are you and Don doing on names? I know you won't share, but it was wondering if you guys have made any progress in terms of some potential names for baby girl or even a naming style you like?

Weird point, but I think "we" meaning me and baby isn't the royal we- when the queen supposedly says "we" she doesn't mean "me and my fetus" I think she just means "me". Really you're just using the normal we.

I took an earlier glucose test and I had to wait an hour and I felt so gross. I was hot and I got very tired idk why. My nurse kept checking on me. I take another test in two weeks uhh I can't wait to get it over
Jen, you are so lucky that glucose test came out okay, mine was off a bit so I had to do a 3 hour test and it was brutal, thank goodness it came back negative and all was good from there. (fyi mine was over 24 years ago :D) Your bump is looking wonderful :Dxox

I had a high bump like yours :) so cute! I love the photos!!
I had a bleed at 12 weeks and fluid in my uterus at 5 weeks so they said if I ever had any pain I needed to go straight to emergency.
I ended up having terrible discomfort and stabbing pains around 25 weeks, i was in tears and it wasn't the first time it happened, mum finally put me in the car and took me to emergency. They told me to go home and drink water 😔 Google had more answers then the nurses!
Only relief I had was getting on all fours and swaying... I and bub survived but the discomfort wasn't very nice and it continued to happen for a little longer then I'd like.
Bumpalicious! I'm loving your bump and your glow, as well as your pregnancy brain! :) happy third trimester! I'll be 40 weeks on Monday so it will be an induction or c section day. Wish me luck. :D

Hi Jen! I have been watching you for YEARS now, but I don't think I've had the guts to ever reach out to you. Love your channel and especially how it has evolved over the years. No matter what changes you decide to make, I always love them and watch regularly. Anyway, I have a question for your next update. Since you're so into ingredients and being conscious of what chemicals you expose your child to, have you or are you considering cloth diapering? Aside from the obvious cost savings and waste-prevention benefits, they are also way better for your baby in terms of chemicals and I was wondering if you had considered it. I really hope this makes it into your next video!

My babies definitely knew my husbands voice and were not shocked by the loud noises of their siblings either. It was really neat. Each of them reacted in a big way to Dad though. It was super cool and unexpected!

hi! i came across your videos looking for pinkblush maternity reviews. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out what size I should order. i know you're 26 weeks in this video but we look about the same size. would you think a medium dress would fit without looking to big but still a little room for grow? +kelkel Absolutely....the dresses I have from them that I wore over the summer are smalls, but a medium would fit just fine as well.

+freinchy2 It's hard not to find baby girl things in pink, so she'll probably end up wearing a lot of that but it's not intentional really on my part. Also, we're going for a light beige/oatmeal neutral color in the nursery.

Hello! I am 21 weeks pregnant, and I also have a anterior placenta. I was wondering when movements became more noticeable for you? I "think" I feel baby sometimes but I am not 100% sure lol Thanks in advance :)
+Amy Hoeing I felt her for the first time at 19 weeks, but it was very faint...even now at 27 weeks it's still pretty subtle but I do feel her several times a day, usually around meals. It started to become more noticeable for me around 24 weeks. Remember that every pregnancy is a bit different, though!
