- Clip by RBsound Holland 2015. Visit us on RBsoundholland. Lime was a Canadian Hi-NRG, Electronic/Dance/Synthpop band from Quebec, Canada. The band was made up of husband/wife composing team, Denis and Denyse LePage. Lime released their first album in 1981, and the songs “You’re My Magician” and “Your Love” both topped the dance charts in the U.K., the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Other releases came after with hits like “Babe, We’re Gonna Love Tonight”, “Guilty”, “Angel Eyes”, “Unexpected Lovers” and “Wake Dream”. After Lime’s fame in the early to mid 1980s, Problems between Denis and Denyse started to rise, and they separated in 1989. Denis and Denyse still worked together until 1996.

Soo Sad! now only a few friends are still alive. Many who I partied with back in the day are gone. These Disco songs will always remind me of how we used to dance in a Circle at Circus Disco. The circle is shrinking. Great Memories will last a lifetime. Miss U All!

I first heard this at CIRCUS DISCO in HOLLYWOOD, CA. A couple of friends of mine went to Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Leon, for 3 weeks. We flew back on a Sunday night and hit CIRCUS for the first time in 1981. I was a fan ever since and CIRCUSIZED. The club is no longer, but great memories.

Tercero de secundaria. Salón de geografía, rehaciendo un mural de la República Mexicana que nunca rompimos mis amigos del taller de dibujo de tercero. Un sábado encerrados con gouaches, pinceles y la grabadora tocando "Your love", melodía con punch para hacernos llevadero ese momento de castigo inmerecido. Y el mural quedó grandioso. 1981.

THE LIME BAND, MY STORY
Firstly, I would like to thank Joe LaGreaca, Denis & Denise Lepage and George Cucuzzella for giving me the chance to work and learn as a producer with the LIME group (Denis and Denise Lepage). All started for me in the early 80s in the living room at Denis & Denise, after finishing the song YOUR LOVE. We were going to do our first test of sound in a club, At that time I was working as resident dj at the famous LIMELIGHT club in Montreal who had the best sound system in North America (for those who remember) Not many people remember that this is when we gave the name to the group (LIME).
Secondly, Rarely and sometimes never, my name was credited to the songs I had cooperated as a producer / mixer with Joe LaGreaca, Denis & Denise Lepage, George Cucuzzella. I do not want to know why, nor accused person, I just want to say to people who are interested, involved and who speaks of the history of LIME Group knows more deeply the history of the group.
