This crossed over from a hobby to a full-time job. It looks like the inside of a military radio room. Very nice but very involved.

@@gfinnstrom It really does but it's definitely cool! I was taken back to the 80s movie War Games or better yet a James Bond movie. Yep a lot of money tied up in that room not to mention the maintenance schedule for all of the stuff including the antenna farm.

Wow! After seeing K3LR's setup, the term "amateur radio" doesn't quite seem fitting.

Beyond impressive. Thank you! As for the comments on *Amateur* - Ham Operators are Professionals and are held to that standard by FCC Regulation and Proctored Testing by the FCC Examiners and affiliated Examiners of the ARRL (VE/VECs). We, as Ham Operators, are Classified as Amateurs because we can not, under penalty of law, to be compensated or renumerated in any way shape or form for what we do as Radio Operators on our awarded and designated frequencies, earned through the testing Classes (2,3,4 or Technician, General, Extra) that are regulated by the Federal Government by way of the FCC.

At what point is it no longer considered "amatuer" ? As much as I appreciate antenna farms, something seems off with this.

Wow, lots of planning, effort, and dollars into that station. The radio is only as good as the antenna network it's attached to it, and there's a lot of antennas there to attach to it. Nice video.
