So Basically I can just Put Products I don’t have on my website And people will buy them From somebody else And I get the money
With dropshipping, the products will need to be listed on your website but you won't have the products stocked on your end (whether it's in your home, warehouse, or wherever you would normally store your products). When a customer places an order on your website, the dropshipping supplier you work with will then ship the product to the customer on your behalf. @@murdocniccals69508they can. Most customers don't buy from a supplier though and most suppliers won't sell to a customer without a contract. Sysco is a major hospitality supplier. Sysco is not gonna bring a pack of hot dogs and paper towels to your house.

The app you install connects your website with the supplier’s system. This way, the orders are automatically synced and sent to the supplier as soon as they are placed.

Why supplier doesn't use their own website to sell?
So i have a question. When i am selling products on my website how do i know with who i'm working? Do i need to sign a contract or something? Can i work with alot of inventory just like that.
What if the customer ordered something on my website, already paid, and the manufacture can't ship out the product due to some reasons?

If the transaction is done via "my" website and the supplier automatically receives the buyer's info, does the supplier's info automatically get updated on my website too?

Hi there. That really depends on the supplier you're using and how you're connecting their inventory data to your store. Some apps will automatically update your inventory based on information provided by the supplier. Do you have your suppliers selected already and your products imported?

Shopify is a commerce platform that provides the tools and technology for merchants to set up an online store and sell products and services on their own website, at physical retail locations, marketplaces and more. I don't get it, if i dont have the inventory and somebody wants to buy a thing which i dont have but I wanna sell but i don't have it, and the supplier will deliver it from somewhere and i get the money, like what????? Please someone explain
Hey, Subhan! With dropshipping, you don't need to have inventory on hand. When a customer places an order for a product on your website, you forward the order to a supplier who will then ship the product directly to the customer. You earn money by charging a markup on the product price, and the supplier handles the fulfillment process. This way, you can sell products without needing to invest in inventory upfront.
