I’m 100% with you, Gains. This choice of hip articulation is baffling to me, because it serves no purpose but to kick forward and backward. Essentially it’s like having no leg articulation. They might as well be still from the waist down. This has prevented me from buying this Freddie Mercury, because I have the 2 SH Figuarts Freddie Mercury figures, and they’re awesome. I was able to get them off eBay for less than $90 each by waiting for a bid that I won. They’re beautiful pieces, and I highly recommend them. I also have the Smooth Criminal MJ, and it’s awesome as well. If this Freddie would’ve had ball jointed hips, I would’ve picked it up as well. I greatly dislike this leg articulation, and the Batman ‘66 line is barely passable because it’s a 60’s tv show and they feel rightly retro(you can sit Batman and Robin in their vehicles, while the villains just stand there). P.S. you don’t talk too much at all man, you barely ever complain about anything, and you’re funny af. Don’t mind the haters, they’re always going to be there bro.
@@AlexanderCrego thanks for the kind words. You nailed it on the 66' line. The nature of them being from an old show lets them slide on the poor articulation. Also I alway wanted that MJ. But yeah, this line really should have been all home runs given the good choices so far. But it's all for naught.
The dated articulation isn't a complete dealbreaker for me, but the scale makes them almost worthless. I should be able to have Rob Zombie hanging out with Spider-Man or whoever, but they don't scale properly with any line. And they need more stage props.
Normally I can forgive scale if there's enough fun to be had. For example I don't care about Multi verse being 7 inch because there's so many characters being made. But this scale is very odd for one, and as you mentioned I want them to party with other figures.
I have the Ozzy and Alice Cooper figure so far, and I love them. The problem is, I can’t find the new music maniacs anywhere. No store near me sells them. The ones I did get, I found 3 hours away on a road trip. I could order online, but it’d be nice to see them in store at GameStop or Walmart. Especially with Walmart broadening their adult collectible section lately.
@@BoogSReviews I like these as well just thought more articulation in this case would make for more fun figures. I'm sure in November the MTS will have a sale on these too.

I would swap the heads to better bodies...if he made anyone I cared about anyway...I would like to see a painkiller era rob halford, a raw power iggy pop, gg allin would be cool, and you can always unload sid vicious merch. the ones I really want I will never see because they are too niche (peter murphy, nik fiend, nick cave, andrew eldritch etc). but if they don't put out iconic looks for these guys a lot of them are just some dude
Completely cosign that. Wish they was bigger and with the better articulation. Woulda most def get both of them. Hopefully he makes bigger better ones. We couldn't be the few that feel this way
I think it’s because with licensing that at 6 inch and not 7. Maybe the likeness rights for the musicians are high. I don’t have any of these and don’t plan to. I like music but not into getting figures of musicians.
Todd McFarlane needs to a series of Kottonmouth Kings figures. D-Loc Richter Saint Dog(RIP) Daddy X Dirtball DJ Bobby B Lou Dog Pakilika (RIP) Taxman Chucky Styles Judge D. Then do the 'Magic Bus' from Rollin Stoned. But Todd just ain't got the Spaldings
I think the answer is pipeline. I think McFarlane likes to stay at the front of the pecking order, so he keeps a steady flow of projects going at the factory. They want to keep every mold in production. Some will hold them back and use them as needed, but I think UncleTodd uses them until they break then makes a new mold, repeat. A rolling stone gathers no moss! He just needs to quit rushing and shoehorning projects...is one of my only complaints w/ his stuff. Just because it resembles something doesn't mean it's gonna work, yeah? Idk. For $23, it's hard to complain
Stop talking dweeb!!! Haha!! Great breakdown. I get your disappointment. We have so few chances at such amazing stars, it sucks when they don’t deliver. Another banger, Gains.
I’ve watched a couple of vids on these and so disappointing, especially Freddy. Neca did the same thing. You’d think all the work it takes to get those likeness rights they’d try to knock it out of the park. Sad in my mind. PS Queen is my daughter’s fav music ever.

that Rob Zombie he did 20 years ago is way cooler than the new one
I think the Alice Cooper he did back in '99 is much better than the new one. No real articulation, but looks awesome.
Both are very different though. I like that the new one has more articulation and is from the Dragula music video.
