This ending makes no sense to me. I mean, the brotherhood is supposed to preserve technology and keep it out of those who would use it to cause harm, so wouldn't it make more sense to seize the institute and it's technology. They could shut down projects they deam too dangerous, including synth production, make use of the fusion reactor and other institute resources. The last missions near the end of the game, regardless of faction, didn't seem to be thought out too much except maybe institute
@FerzenTES brotherhood is definitely one of my favourite factions, but I hope when Fallout 5 is eventually released, they're back to their more noble aesthetic.
Well it isn't unusual for them to destroy technology they deem "too dangerous" for anyone to handle. I think the Institute is a great example because if they seized the tech, anyone could come along and retake it and start all over again and I like I said before, their no stranger to going as far as destroying tech if it means preventing it being used. While they normally do keep tech for themselves they have made it clear if it's required they'll destroy something to prevent anyone from misusing it
Ngl I saw a same brotherhood knight in power armor use a shock baton and i called him an ‘absolute chad’ for it at the same area Before that,I saw a knight fist a railroad agent in their HQ in combat armor I’m convinced they’re the same person
I think that unfortunately there will be no happy ending for wastelanders in BoS's timeline, or Railroad's for that matter. Both factions care little about common lives in wasteland. Former are basicaly hoarding tech for themselves and help little others, in NV Mr. House described BoS quite accurately I think. Latter are pretty much concerned with synths only, they only voice that was loud enough about other wastelanders was Deakon's. The best faction for the people of Commonwealth is Minutemen, who are more pro-commoners than every other faction combined. And, in some sence, the Institute could serve people's needs. Both Minutemen and the Institute are controlled by player, and while Mm are already in somewhat right direction, I would argue that as the Institute's director you can persuade others to change their direction as well. And there is also a question of scientific progress, with the Institute and maybe some Enclave remnants who are the only known factions that are capable of real scientific progress. No matter what you think of them, you can't argue with need of improving wasteland's ecology, and for that you definitely need these factions. If not join them, might as well use them. Not blow the whole place up 😆
Best case scenario is the BoS clear out the Supermutants, Feral Ghouls, Synths, and some Raiders/Gunners that get in the way. Then take or destroy any tech that could be used to create a new Institute. After that they leave, letting the Minutemen fill in the void they leave, to create a new CPG. That's at least the way I hope it works out, when I build up the Minutemen, and use the Brotherhood to destroy the Institute.
Well general our mission is done killing the institute but there are still raiders roaming aroud so....... I've got a word form a settlement that being raided by raiders they need u
It would’ve been better if there were more choices like the BoS not destroying the institute, instead preserving the Institute tech or the minutemen joining forces with the Brotherhood😎
I love everything about the show except that they made this the only cannon ending. They did the one thing they shouldn’t do but still made the show amazing. But replaying fallout 4 rn and choosing the institute I can’t help but feel everything I’m doing is useless and not real
@@wandereringshadow8658 In a way the canon timeline branches off from player choice in each installment. Every game in the franchise has several endings to pick from and only some can be formed into a cohesive narrative for the next, so it's not bad to have our own playthroughs be their own things built off of the previous entries and have the canon be wherever it goes.
@@Lego-batsy it would bring things full circle and that would make it interesting all the more… 🤔 of course, you can also prep Liberty Prime before the point of no return, so there’s that…
for the blind betrayal, you will require to pass a red speech check and along some yellow speech check and once you passed those checks u may spare danse from elder maxson"s wrath however should u bring danse to any bos territory or if he's seen by any bos members, they will not hesitate to fire upon you and danse

Plus they've done similar acts in previous fallout games so there's that too
It's supposed to preserve pr-war technology and destroy harmful technology

You have 3 dads and 3 moms now 😂
(In my playthrough)
Let me guess, you romanced Cait, Curie, Piper, Danse, Preston and Macready 😂
