What is your experience like with the motor in the car after installing the oil pump? I’ve been doing a lot of research and other people’s testimonies are limited but theories are plenty on the forums. How’s the “vibration”? What rpm? Any noises? Other things you notice?
I personally didn’t notice any vibrations. There might have been a slight increase but it would have to be minimal for me to not catch it. You don’t really feel anything else besides peace of mind revving up to 8k. It’s an oem replacement part.
You’d be correct. A lot of people rev even higher. Maybe I’m just being a bit hesitant since my last motor got blown. But I was fairly happy with my last build reving to 7300.
@@RuskiRedneck had to be something else man cause all us FBO boys revving to 7800 no problem on stock pump. Of course not making power all the way through but no issues
No it was definitely the tune that blew it. Motor leaned out. I’m just saying since this is my second build I’m a bit hesitant to push it to its limits😅 I mean I’ll probably only rebuild it like 4 more times if it blows before I give up on the tsx.😂
I just received my 4 piston racing oil pump install kit last night! Woohoo!!
How about a live stream one day over the weekend for the tsx community? I'm sure we got a lot of questions that need answers.
Excited!!!!
7650rpm with hondata refresh ATM for me. LFG!!

Wheres a good location on the oil pan to make a hole for the oil return fitting?
The back as close to the top as you can. I’m actually doing a video on that next.

Did you have any transmission issues while it was boosted?
No. Eventually I will pushing 500hp. I am going to be rebuilding my trans. Not sure what direction I’m going with yet.
