The only thing missing at the end is him and Dorito getting married to turn this into a perfect anime
"I'm only lower on damage because I'm paying attention to every other rouge in the raid, but also dps players need more help so I'm giving myself alot of loot" Can't tell if this class leader is that dense or makes 5D chess look like checkers.
As the rogue class lead for my guild in classic that story brought back some memories. My experience might be drama time worthy but i don't think I'm a good enough writer to do it justice
I love how twitch chat is completely split on the rogue
One thing I'm learning from Drama Time is that any money-making scheme involving fish (that simply goes beyond "selling the fish") is doomed.
1am drama time? Why yes I will
Going to FFXIV and not having dps meters was so fucking liberating.
There is something to be said about self improvement and being able to use metrics to measure that, but there is another to be said about mechanically focusing on something that will provide diminishing returns on effort invested.
Spoiler: and you probably know this, there are dps meters in FFXIV, but if you mean we aren't aloud to openly talk about it in-game then I get your point
@@Octopootie1don’t worry installing them is a such a pain in the asa that I couldn’t figure it out even though I have had 50+ mod load orders in the past. I’d vager not many people have them
@@acev3521 I've been running ACT in FF XIV since I started playing in Stormblood, my static at the time were all console players, or PC illiterates but wanted parses. I became the de-facto parse uploader for the group, a position I'm still in to this day. Trust me when I say, ppl in FF XIV are running dps meters, and uploading runs to FF Logs, even menial dungeon runs.
Look your character up in FF Logs, and you're bound to find something you ran, someone else parsed, and uploaded.
The shit talking other players for poor play, bad dps etc. happens in FF XIV, it's just limited to LS, FC chat, and discord. FF XIV is not the wholesome, non-judgmental community they like to think they are, at least not NA/EU
What annoys me the most is that someone went to make a deal for 1 item and "gave up" another item. You cant claim someone or give it up before its even dropped. Imagine buying a house and telling the bank you will pay them back IF you won the lottery? Madness xD
52:08 Good to see Preach going full Ghost there on the loot guilt
Getting my benediction was the highlight of my WoW career. I remember farming the eye of shadow for weeks in Winterspring on my lock alt and farming strat for holy water to help with the peasants. One of the best times in the game with how that whole thing played out and I wish they had more items like that in the game that add a story to a piece of gear instead of just a dopamine hit.
I seem to remember Mike ninjaing some loot in a certain tomb while playing classic HC.
That fountain story. I bet the author was the type to do the mechanics as minimum as possible putting more burden on the team to do mechanics all while not suggesting any hows just saying "that's a problem guys!"
This story is why I can't be a rogue main because no matter how hard I try I just don't care about loot lol
No, he COULDN'T complete the quest. I was our priest class lead in classic and I had a two priests of our 11 priests who were I knew were going to be unable or struggle to do the quest so I put them late in the order for their eye's vs other gear. We had a few raid teams and I had to have 2 60's to help get both teams to be on similar par with healing so both teams could be equally progressed and clear all raid content. Burned me OUT and it SUCKED. One of the two priests though instead of admitting she prob. couldn't do the quest refused to take the eye (trying to justify wanting some other healing weapon) instead of just admitting to us that she needed some coaching on how to get the quest done. So stubborn, I would have personally spent my time with her getting her through it if she just would accept the help we offered her. I was at one point twisting her arm to take it and she still wouldn't I think we just eventually looted it to her. Funny your guys were like the opposite of her. I think she was super afraid to even try.
He became a Warlock...mentally
When classic came out for the first few months i played all day and would only go outside for a few minutes a day when the servers are down or i was on the flight path. but then i started getting bored of it when i realised the end game was 100% raiding and the guilds on my server were all annoying. but you couldn't progress with pugs. and i wanted to go outside and enjoy fresh air. but guess what year it was and what was happening. i went outside looked at all the dystopian posters and everyone wearing gas masks and telling me to stay inside. and i was like back to azeroth again i guess .
Now wait a minute... What does he mean Mongoose is more than enough? Mongoose didn't come out until Karazhan I thought? I sense a continuity error! I'm a rogue in Wrath and have been for a very long time and I can confirm that at least half of his mentality is correct 😂😂
As a Classic Wow Rouge class leader and loot council member I loved the drama. However I kept my rogues in line and there was no corruption. I was even the expose armor rouge. But yes keeping those snakes in line was not easy and only when we had the second kings fall drop off KT did I ever get any serious blow back for my loot distribution. Suck it Arani lol
ok
Manifesto!?
Naa! TL:DR
what about the allegedly exaggerated gear box rumor?
Early for once?
Hi Preach. Is there a reason why drama time is always a week or so behind on iTunes?
Female rogue full female moment
omg what childish mentailty over a game great story though.
Lol @ preach crapping on rogues, when last I saw he is a mage player
well dorito was a girl so, checks out
Sounds fake, but go off king.
Uninstalling the DPS meter was the best thing he could've done. Well done storyteller.
