I watch this over and over because you don't stress over anything and had lovely results. I'm gathering my courage to dip my toe into the bagmaking world.
😆the part "I know it's not my gift" is priceless and right on point! THANK you for sharing the hacks, your bag is lovely, and I admire your nails. My old hands couldn't pull them off, but yours look fantastic.
Wish I would have seen your great tips and hacks before I made my first 'Not" so Easy Does It Bag! But with your thoughtful bag making skills, I am ready to try it again! Thank you for sharing your expertise. Can't wait to watch more of your videos!
Wish you were my neighbor. We could sew together Your sewing is definitely quilt show quality. You need to submit your items in a show. You would definitely win an award. Perfect sewing. Love watching you, so (sew) perfect.
I think we all need to remember that the recipients of the items we make are not going to immediately turn them inside out & rate them out of 10! If we mention the quality of our sewing they’re just going to say “What!!!!! Are you insane?!!”. I think you work to a consistently to a high standard & because you problem solve & critique your work, your skills will continue to evolve. 😁
You are too kind. When I think about how we critique our own work I laugh. At our guild meetings the first thing all the ladies throw out is a disclaimer. You are absolutely correct no one cared about what is happening on the inside of the bag.
Your bags came out beautifully! I made my first one of these bags and used the binding hack to have the binding on the outside - it looks nice, but a little sloppy, so next time I’ll use the inside binding hack! Also, loved the zipper hack - definitely going to do that!xoxo
Cute bags! I'm wondering if you could just zig zag the final seam of the binding? Then the line doesn't have to be so straight. I seem to get a fold or two in mine. I like watching you use the rotary cutter. You use it so delicately and carefully 🙂. I laughed when you said ' I've met me'
Thank you so much for commenting I hope you stick around. I have so much more to share. I do not play games with my rotary cutter I think I should name it.

I made my easy dose it bag, and followed your tips of sewing on the bias to the front of the bag . It did make it easier for me. Thanks for sharing!

Using this fabric to make the Easy bag for my cousins. To celebrate my Mexican side. Thanks for this tutorial.
You are so welcome! Your bags are going to be show stoppers.
So glad I found your channel. I love your design aesthetic and the way show the challenges that you have with the binding.

Hi.
New to by annies patterns.
When she says cut by w x l. Or l x w. Directional pattern is why I am asking.
I struggle with that part too. In the very beginning of all her patterns she tells you how they should go. I usually look at the pictures
What size needle is recommended for quilting the foundation with a walking foot? I would be so grateful for your advice.
I like to use a topstich size 14.
Great tips! What was the fabric glue that you used? Thank you!
I always keep permanent themoweb fabric glue in the green bottle it's a must have.

Have you done the Bowl me over? Would love to see if you have!
Not yet but it's on my list
Please what is that foot called? I have never seen in on the left side before thanks
What foot? At what time in the video. I don't remember off hand
@@MACoutureCrafting 41;03 you are sewing the zipper it looks like a 1/4 inch foot but it is on the left side
@@murwill1 that's my stitch in the ditch foot. I'm using it a lot lately
Where did you buy the Frida fabric? It is beautiful
This fabric is by Robert Kaufman and I got it from M & L fabrics
@@MACoutureCrafting Thank you for sharing. I am nowhere close to sewing like you but I I love that you value your hard work and your crafts.
@@marthaisiordia4104 I bet you can totally sew like me probably better. Thank you so much for your encouraging words.
Not sure if anyone can answer now, but can you use a 12” zipper?
I wish I could help but I gave all of mine away. There is a Facebook group dedicated to By Annie patterns that might be able to help.
Is this like outside binding for clam ups?
Yes
I read it in files but wasn’t quite clear til i saw you do it. Thanks for showing. Enjoy your channel
@@lindadavis6193 thanks for watching
Is the binding 2” or 2.5”? I’m gonna try this.
For which part?
@@MACoutureCrafting binding strips. Width of cut?
@loiscasey1338 I think it's 2.5 inches the pattern is free on the By Annie site. I just gave a few suggestions I think.
Is your binding the full two inch veggie the hack
It's 2.25 two and 1 quarter
Do you ever pre-wash your fabric?
Very seldom. If it's a baby quilt I'm gifting I consider it but even then not always.
Would you recommend using vinyl?
I've done it and I love it on the inside and the construction makes it pretty easy as long as your foot does not stick
@@MACoutureCrafting Thank you for your quick response.
I know its a tutorial. but I also know you think out loud like this when all alone. 🤣
Yep I definitely think out loud.
Check out Tiffany's Quilting Life when she's sewing binding if you want to try bias seam. She very beginner friendly.
I'm going to have to see what she is up to.
Beauties !!
Sometimes lose what you're doing at the bottom of the screen
I just hate that but I promise you didn't miss anything relevant just some fussying with stuff close to my body.
