    SUMMARY
Would you show love to a masked gunman who abducted you and your family? For Jamie Winship, the answer was yes. As he shares the details of this frightening experience, Jamie will inspire you to exchange fear for love as you seek God’s true identity for you.
    TAKEAWAYS
--- Being in your true identity makes you more relational, take risks, and face reality.
--- The enemy is always in the hypothetical future, but God is in the present.
--- To identify false identities, ask God, “What are the things I believe about myself that hurt me?”
--- Your true identity in God will be others-focused, self-emptying, and characterized by unconditional love for your enemies.

Identity messages given by the world, filters through Our unique self and gives us an emotional identity. God is the only one who can give an eternal emtional identity. I'm valued, I'm listened to, you hear me, Im Holy in you, but must be revelation by rleationship.

Wow! This ministered to me deeply. I teach parents the importance of establishing their child's identity in Christ at an early age. However, as an adult, I know that I don't walk in the truth of who I really am. I know lies that are governing my life but I've never been able to rid myself of them. After listening to this, a light bulb went on. I'm not broken! Although I've known this in my head, it had never truly affected how I saw myself. I had too much evidence supporting the lie. Jamie said one sentence in the middle of this podcast that set me free! Jamie, you are truly anointed to untie the knots in our hearts that keep us from being fully who we are in Christ. I hope to meet you one day. I'm using much of what I'm learning from you in the training I do with parents. You are living out what I've always known to be true, that when we live our true identity, nothing is impossible!
