Do you think people are gonna remember Lady Gaga in 30 years. Or Adele ? Rianna ? Perry ? Absolutely not. But we all remember the oldies , classic rock, early R and B, Soul. But C'mon Todays stuff just won't stack up to what we had 80's and before.
Originally in 3/4 beat as instrumental piece it would be almost impossible to sing there are no rest for breathing it turn out well at 4/4 beat giving the melody lots of rest so it could be sang.
