Floaty grips with a screw mount in the bottom were $20+ so I figured may as well get a whole dome kit for 60. And I'd say its worked fairly well. Do be mindful than any small scratches or chips you get on the port will show up much easier on video than the same thing on the gopro lens. And if the light is right for it, can get a weird reflection of the gopro on the face of the port
