I just got my cricut air 2. Not even out of the box yet. Now I realize I NEED the foil kit too. Haha. Popped over to QVC and picked it up on 5 easy pays and free shipping so it's about $8 a month and has some foil to get me started. Thank you for the inspiration! This is going to be so much fun!

Cute cards - Joann’s had the foil transfer kit on for 50% off this weekend - it said one left at my store so I dashed over there only to find none left
Sorry there were none left. Every time I have the money they are all sold out... everywhere. When I DON'T have the money they seem to be everywher AND on sale. Now I have to wait til after the holidays when I can afford them. Maybe by the time I get them I'll be a bit more experienced with my Cricuts to use them. I have the Joy and the Maker and the Easy Press 9×9 and Mini. Next I need to get the Explore Air 2. Sorry again they were spld out. ☹☹
I LOVE THEM. They turned out soooo pretty. I think red foil with a ball ornament with a mandala design on green paper would be so pretty. Or maybe a coulpe different colors (like red and silver foil) but that might be a bit complicated to do. I really want those foil tips but can't afford them... YET. Oh well, next year is just around the corner and maybe I'll be able to afford them after the holidays. That could be a great idea to do a few every month so when Christmas comes around again ther would be some nice ones all ready to go. Are you going to do the question of the day again? I love those. Christmas questions would be nice like what was our favorite ornament/decoration growing up, or our favorite family tradition from our family (and new traditions from our family now if we are married), favorite Christmas dish on Christmas/Cristmas eve, do we celebrate on Christmas or Christmas eve, favorite Christmas candy/cookie/etc. I could keep going but I think you get the idea... so many questions. So many questions to choose from. I LOVE the question of the day. I love answering them. It makes me feel like I'm part of a little community, which we need during this time. Another great video, as always. Thanks for sharing with us.
I got my sets at Walmart for 9 dollars and change no foil with them but better than cricuts price and exactly the same 3 tips in each for joy and explore
Do you find you have any issues with the white stickers pulling off bits your cardstock when you are removing the foil? I find the white strips very sticky.
Awesome and informative video. Just order everything I need. Have a question thought. Is it possible to purchase extra tape specifically for the foil? Thank you, as always, for your help
I haven’t seen the tape sold separately, but the tape is reusable and they give you plenty with the foil. I’ve also heard you can use washi tape, though I haven’t tried that since I like the included tape.
My Cricut design space is not giving me the foil option can you help? My design space also looks very different from every video that I have seen. I use an iPad.

These are beautiful I had to return my foil kit as I couldn't get it to work no matter what I did. There was always gaps in the foil

If you're referring to the white tape, it comes included with the foil. :)

The foil kit is currently only compatible on the desktop version, and not on the apps.
