It's the plenty obstacle for me😋😋😋looks yummy and well prepared too👌👌👌
A Yoruba woman that reminds me of an Igbo woman..You took me down memory lane,.. following my mum around in the kitchen + you didn't miss an ingredient ❤❤❤...
You the bestest!!!
Sisi, you are one of a kind. The way you make recipes of different tribes is amazing. One would just think you are a native of that place. You remain the best food content creator I have ever seen.
Keep up the good work and may the Lord increase you beyond your imagination.
This is God's truth! This was exactly the comment I left on one of her posts on Facebook. She does it like she's a native everytime, regardless of where that meal comes from. She's been my go to food blogger for donkey years! Well done, Sisi Yemmie.
I lived in Warri and Edo State so I am very familiar with a lot of Nigerian Delicacies! Thank you so much! Amen
Watching this again because my partner wants this for Christmas lunch 🙌🏽🙌🏽

I’m Ghanaian, I have recently noticed we have a lot of bitter leaves plant in Ghana. Would you kindly show us how you prepare the bitter leaves before adding it to the soup? Thanks
Wow!!! I’ll try this ❤
Sisi come and adopt me 🤗🤗….I have your other cook books, definitely buying the soup cook book
I have to commend you Sisiyemmie. Based on your name, my assumption is that you are of the yoruba tribe, but the way you cook igbo soups and delicacies like the nkwobi...o my Jesus! Even better than some ignore household s, you are a natural in the kitchen
I lived in Warri and Edo State so I am very familiar with a lot of Nigerian Delicacies! Thank you so much!

U always make me hungry mom😘😘😘
Whew I want some of this o. So rich
I used to like ofe onugbu until I grew up to fuo onugbu. 😪😪😪😪😪😪😪. The never ending wash and rinsing. You start with lots of leaves and end up with a tiny amount for all your efforts. Don’t get me started on the Ogiri 😔. I always always had green nails for a week, picture going to school and church with those nails😫😫😫😫😫😫
Nice 👍
First viewer today, my favorite

Haven't cooked it before but will try it this weekend. Is there an alternative to ogiri for those who can't get it outside Nigeria?
Please y’all should like the videos, they’re worth watching ❤
Pls ma what can you use to substitute cocoyam
This reminds me of Bobo in Bahia, Brazil

First to comment🥰🥰
Washing bitter leaves reminds me of my Mum, I used to love assiting her washing the leaves which totally foams out like soap. I get so intimidated with using stock fish 🐟 to cook, I get scared cause of little bones for my kids. Does the Ogere stink like iru 🤔 😳 🥰
This is the soup I want to make this weekend but the process of washing the bitter leaves is discouraging me. Dear ndi Igbo, please are there easier & quicker ways to wash bitter leaf? Help a sister out biko. Also, what can I substitute ogiri with if I don't have it?
P.S: I've never made bitter leaf soup before. I've only watched videos of how it's made here on YT so wish me luck. T for tenks
Sis, I hear you!😂😂
As a kid I used to dread washing the bitter leaf to get the bitterness out but as an adult I’ve come to appreciate the slightly bitter taste and the nutritional benefit of the bitter compounds in bitter leaf. It helps to “cleanse” the liver and also lowers blood sugar.👍
You can buy washed leaves in the market. But you’d have to boil them and wash them a bit before using. Also onugbu without ogiri cannot be complete but you can do with just maggi. Or you can try okpenyi
first here
Ma pls make a Video on how to make Peanut soup 🍜🙏
Super sup, but , lot of work, for me difficult to do
Can I mix it with ugwu or water leave
No please it loses its essence and name.. As in it won't no longer be bitterleaf soup.. it will be another name if you change the leaf
It’s same soup as oha,right?
Similar process, different leaves. Some people off the charts go further with the concept of oha and use the rose-akwu extracts with nchuanwu/mint to cook certain types of jollof rice with.
Soupastar😂😂😂😂

I am not from Nigeria but married to a 9ija man. I cook any Nigerian soup I want and always tell him, *Sis Yemmie and I got this!* 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Thank you Sisi Yemmie!
