Talk about revisionist history. The miracle mile was lined with restaurants, gas stations, supermarkets, department stores all kinds of stores and the reason why the sidewalks are wide is because they made it so that people could walk. They were car dealerships, but any research on TH-cam or in the LA public library, and you find photographs and film footage of the miracle mile, including photographs when it was busy with foot traffic from shoppers and other business. Why would you turn it around and make it like it is what is not or wasn’t? And the mention of electric trolling cars yes they were even electric cars back then and it didn’t work What an opportunity to really make this an enjoyable and it turns into some kind of anti-car subtext profile. Some of these other ones have been very good but this one is come on now.
