If the screen can be taken off without the logik board having to be removed it will be a lot easier is it possible to do that did you just take the board out so you could push the screen from behind

I have some kind of waves under my screen as you did clean the phone with cheap 70% ALC. perfume...looks definitely I have damaged it from inside. I am able to use the phone ,but my screen on the bottom shows bright waves...
Am idea if it is possible to fix that without removing anything?

Original screen is about $60 and aftermarket about $30..i think you should be able to locate locally.

That is actually battery adhesive strips, some call it as iPhone battery adhesive.
@@DIYGeardo thanks, you are being a great help, I have new screen now and have attached it to PCB but a problem has arisen. The video output is working but no touch screen, I'm not sure if this a sensor problem or something but idk, im at the point of 3:51 testing the new screen

Probably a bad lcd, try with another screen.. then we can see what is going on exactly..
