What a successful journey. Perhaps the best actress we have seen in the last 2 decades who can work in many industries. I have been a hige fan of her since 2005. She is amazing.
She is not just any other actress who comes and goes. She is a person who is very serious about following her passion and will continue acting till her end. I would like to put out a point here regarding the pay parity for actors and actresses. I am a huge fan of Tamannaah ever since Kalloori and still I am. Her dedication and commitment towards learning the languages she works is impeccable and applaudable as hardly any heroines of her Era takes up that initiative. A highly potential and talented actress who later on took a different path to shine in this glamorous industry by understanding the practicality and dynamics of the cinema industry. Coming to the pay parity which I was mentioning, it comes with the crowd pull which an actor can achieve at theatres. Since late 90s, most of the films made were mostly hero centric films where the female leads gradually lost their significance in movies as most films made began to be male driven. The crowds in theatres mostly come for the heroes more than the heroines. Heroines are always considered secondary element of films. Therefore, actors are paid 10 times or more salaries than actresses as the box office results are determined by the male actors who are so called the HEROES. For example, if you cast a new comer heroine with Ram Charan or any other big heroes, if the outcome is good, it will do tremendous business and emerge as cash spinner at the box office. If you cast a new face hero alongside an established actress like Samantha or Tamannaah, the box officer result will not be the same no matter how good the film is made. Can you see the difference here. The solution is, filmmakers should start writing and making more powerful, strong and commercially viable female centric films. One fine example is Arundathi in Telugu and Nayanthara's Maya in Tamil. These films were so good and gripping that they became not only a blockbuster and did fabulous business at the box office. Therefore, Nayanthara, Anushka and Samantha are now considered to be in the league of male superstars as they have the capacity to attract crowds to the theatre. However, even if you compare the pay of the 3 ladies mentioned with the male super stars, the difference is humongous. THE REASON : They are not able to achieve a box officer gross of at least 100 crore. If Tamannaah's solo film can earn a gross of 100 crore at the box office within a marginable budget, Tamannaah is definitely a mega superstar who can demand salary on par with heroes. Once the female actors can yield such magnificent businesses to the producers, they will not hesitate to pay the salary which is equivalent to big male actors. Even in corporate companies, your salary increases only if your contribution to the company's growth increases. Else, you will remain where you are
Love the way u engage your interviewee. They speak their heart out to you mam. That comfort is more important. Rightly said, Tamanna has grown through the years. Her characters are varied and love that she is talking in Telugu like a pro. Truly inspiring.. More power to her and you too Prema mam👏👏✊😍

Atleast tamannah has come out of her thoughts but Prema is still diplomatic. She tells few actors that you are good bold why ppl criticize and few actors that you never did any glamorous roles and praises and praises. Too much double standards. Prema is just pleasing people
Just a feedback Sweet talking with diplomacy and asking the same ridiculous questions is not liberating prema!If you really want to change perspectives with your interview,it’s time to move on from kissing scenes and talk about the better things.Only top 2-3% have a career of 18yrs in a industry like this,this could have been better. I agree with Tamanna that women aren’t getting enough strong female roles, but the role she got in Lust stories is neither strong nor a good role. Earlier she probably was viewed as a glomorous heroine, after lust stories the last thing that will be on anyone’s mind is acting talent. This really breaks my heart, to see tamanna in such a role and to see that obscenity is being pumped up as creativity or talent or bold .

I agree with Tamanna that women aren’t getting enough strong female roles, but the role she got in Lust stories is neither strong nor a good role.
