  • NCL's Prima sails from Reykjavik Iceland to Southampton England on a reversible 10 day itinerary with stops above the Arctic Circle in Iceland along with ports in Norway, Amsterdam, and Bruges, Belgium. Since this itinerary can be rainy and chilly in mid-summer, do NOT buy the Vibe Beach Club pass! Here's a completely honest overview and tour of the Norwegian Prima. See our other videos for more on Northern European and Iceland ports and excursions.

@@CarlosBalanda thank you! We watched the other channels and either puked from the fakeness (Emma), clickbait (Gary), or fell asleep because they’re so BORING (Don)

Someone in IT is DEFINITELY throttling your Starlink internet bandwidth. On Icon of the Seas we hit 50MBPS down in the ocean. Did you have streaming?

Wonderful video. We are planning to go to N Europe next year and now I’m second guessing if we should choose a different ship or cruise line. It’s for my daughter’s senior trip. Thoughts?

Well, the NCL Prima's Northern European cruise was quite the experience. The modern design is nice, and the rooms big enough to almost forget we weren't in a boutique hotel. The outside areas were completely unusable due to cold temps and a lot of rain. Dining? Oh, let's just say they tried their best to cater to every tastebud, though some dishes were definitely more "experimental" than others. Fortunately, there are virtually unlimited choices so there's something for just about everyone. And the entertainment? Well, let's just say it was... mediocre at best. From the Broadway wannabes to the washed-up magician doing card tricks on a video screen to the oft confusing and wayyyyy too long Donna Summer biopic with too much dialogue and not enough of her music, all run by a way too mellow, slightly awkward, and rarely seen cruise director - NCL could definitely benefit from some changes in that department. Oh, and don't get me started on the shore excursions-because nothing screams adventure like being herded around in a theater with a host who had no idea what she was talking about and can't even run a terrible PowerPoint probably created by Bob in accounting. Do NOT go to the theater at the ports - just follow the signs and get off the ship. Your bus will be there, and it's a much more pleasant wait. Overall, it was an experience. A memorable one, to say the least. The ports were all amazing anyway.

@@CarlosBalanda we thought the food was great! Disappointing Donna Summer show. Stick to the music.

On this cruise next month, was hoping this video would be helpful....but the "I don't know I was in the Haven" is annoying.

Oh Kelly, Kelly, Kelly. We were just goofing around. It's not always easy to be bougie.
