Takyiman Chiefs Media Conference was in a bad taste. The beginning of the message was good. The conclusion was awful. Any sensible and peace lover person will expect the elders to have apologized for what the hooligans did to attack the Kumasi buses from Nkoranza funeral. Even, if it was true that somebody of the Funeral party had said "barima nni Takyiman" it did not justify the attack with stones, sticks and guns. Some of the injured are children and women. The claim that the violence started from the buses cannot be true. How could the people traveling in buses assault bystanders on the ground. The people in the buses came out when their buses were attacked. The videos show that the buses had to stop for the young men in the buses to drive the gangsters away. Any right thinking person can accept that it is easier and more likely to throw stones into a bus than for the people in buses to attack bystanders. Any wise and honest person would have ignored the fake details. They would have simply rendered an unqualified apology. The statement of the chiefs that "se wopam ehufuo a wohyia barima" indicates that the attack was intended, premeditated and supported by the chiefs. It is dishonest for anyone to claim that they had come to the roadside to cheer up Otumfuo. Right thinking people don't cheer up with stones. It is also a contradiction and untrue to give the impression that the people of Takyiman acted in self defense. It would have been better for the chiefs of Takyiman to be silent than to make such a meaningless statement.
