Whaat? I'm on Daydream now. Was on Hamilton when trade deadline passed, surrounded by beauty, I'm glued to the phone. Sad to see Jakey go.

What are your thoughts on trading out pick 28 for a future 2nd, matching the kako bid with our later picks and then trading back in with the future 2nd to move back up the draft order?

Sam Draper is up for free agency next year so if wants to head back to SA (which I’m sure Adelaide would organised by now) we could have 3 first rounders to offer for Harley Reid!

    Weed and Davey?
It's the depth on the list that we need worry about. Unless we bring in players to meet that need, we need, unfortunately,, to give them another year. So Jayden Dayey didn't perform in the 2's this year as he should have. He is the 1st out the door. Weed did, but if our backs go down with injury maybe we need keep him??

Glad you mentioned our need for an elite kicker, that’s what I think we need most. Disagree with Setterfield, mainly because his kicking skills are atrocious.

Haven't watched yet. But I'll comment. Would love to see your 2025 potential line-up.
Potential line-up Round 1 2025. Thoughts? Not too bad IMO. Not bottom 4 like some people are saying. Wright needs to stop flinching when in a contest. McKay needs to not panic and focus on disposal efficiency. Martin back on wing as he has more options to float forward and frees up space for actual defenders to grow.
Efficiency inside 50 seems most important tbh.
Shiel is somewhere in the 22.
    B: McGrath McKay Ridley
    HB: El-Hawli Hayes Redman
    C: Duursma Durham Martin
    HF: Perkins Wright Langford
    F: Kako Caddy Gresham
    Followers: Draper Caldwell Merrett
    Int: Bryan Parish Guelfi Jones
Emergency: Laverde Tsatas Setterfield Hobbs Reid Roberts
    Unlucky: Lual + Menzie

More like lucky for Menzie. Trade Draper & Parish next trade period.

I wouldn’t be having Roberts or Tsatas down as emergency. Roberts has some real talent and needs a chance to play after a solid preseason. Tzatziki and caddy I think a preseason is gonna do wonders for as well.
Otherwise I think your list is pretty solid. Just hard to find a place for them in such a stacked midfield. Just seems like we didn’t have anyone to play this year and next year we have too many.

Don't even bother unless you're willing to go and suffer for not getting you're moneys worth, the club will be lucky if they win 7 games in 2025 I have them around 15 to 13th at best

100 to 1 S.OS will make a bid on Issac just as a childish play remember when Essendon made a play for his kid

I don't wish to make too many comments here but Why the Hell did Essendon not push harder I mean pick 53 they should have made GWS give up something else we could have returned a pick back say 54 for their 37 because right now we have Picks 28 and 31 which will now have to be match on a bit with Issac Kako so that now means we have no picks inside the top 30 our first selection will be 40 or even higher I also have noticed the club said we are young and going with youth I get all of that but that did not Happen at Hawthorn they were young as well and did not use that as an excuse why once again are the club sugar coding everything again are they worried that by coming out making a statement that they want to improve from this year and are worried by saying that if they fail in 2025.I just think the club needs to stop making excuses to the public and fans and do something about addressing the big Elephant in the room which is 20 years without a finals win so come 2025 Essendon will now be 42 goals worse off also too Peter Wright is cooked the one thing about Essendon there is no plan B or C, unlike other teams who have more than 1 plan in mind, I can see Essendon fall down more next year 2025 I have Essendon now in 13th to 15th position.

I cant be fawked to read all that so I’m gonna guess what you said.
      1. We wanted stringer gone. Gws didnt care whether he was there next year or not.
      2. We are trading our second round picks for kako who is a first rounder. This gives us an additional first rounder next year through the trade with melbourne.
      3. Our youth this year was not ready. Playing them too early is unnecessary and works against the end goal. They played archie roberts and nick bryan when they were ready towards the end of the season and they both showed why. They all need more body development in the offseason though.
      4. Our goals count will take a hit, but with stringer gone it gives opportunity to other players to pick up the slack and become real goal scoring options. We want a team that can all score goals and all defend. That team is a team that wins a premiership. Stringer was not apart of that team in performance or attitude.
