I wonder if the hardware is heavier than the silver hardware, I find it weighs less than the gold (brass) hardware. I'm guessing the gunmetal is a brass as well? @@milliegalier

100% the quilted tabby 33! I posted an update on the community page that I actually returned the tabby 40 because it was way too heavy to use. It's sad because that is also a beautiful bag, just not functional at all.
That blackened metal from Coach chip’s easily and badly. So be careful with the clasp and just know the grommets and chain will chip from pulling it through.

I've heard this before! I actually have a few Coach bags with this hardware and have never had any issues with chipping
