I was under the impression that selective beta blockers (metoprolol) only hit B1 receptors (which are only located on the heart) and that un-selective beta blockers, like labetalol, are contraindicated in reversible airway disease due to Beta 2 receptors, which were responsible for vasodilation of peripheral vasculature.
They updated the scoring for CHADS2. If you are 65 to 74 you get one point. If you are 75 or older you get 2 points. If you are female you get one point.
