My current world/project is a little on the interesting side because I have decided to try to make a copper age world, that transitioning period between the stone and bronze ages that due to how ancient it is there's little to no writing obviously. But the idea of a time when it's practically the perfect age for myths to be walking around and forging metal can literally be a magical practice is fascinating. Especially with how easy copper is in comparison to other metals. The only downside to this is that since cultures were just starting, there isn't enough known about any of them to fall on much. Which means I get to stretch my imagination and Copper as far as they'll go.
Just found you a few days ago through your magic systems video and just wanna say you're awesome. I watch a lot of videos to help improve my writing and as much as try to focus on them lately they've become boring to me, but yours keep me engaged. Also appreciate that you edit your videos instead of just sitting in a chair.
Thank you so much! Your comment is really helpful--it tells us we're doing alright! I figured there was a niche to be found in trying to make worldbuilding videos that were less rambly, more to the point, and had some actual production value. If we're accomplishing those goals at all, then I'm glad to hear it!
A really cool video! I’m busy world building now, and this discussion gave me a great foundation to start!
Hey man, your content and rate of release is top notch, especially given the size of your channel. Hope you blow up soon!
Thank you so much!
I see Markus and Nakai, I click Markus and Nakai.
Hell yeah.
Time to make a culture of Austrian Kangaroos, just to prove you wrong.
Damn, I've been foiled. Fair play.
