Did you know yasmeen was told she was ugly at school all through her childhood. It was so bad that she refused to have photos taken of herself. From age 12/13 and onwards there are no photos of her in the family photo album. No matter how your parents try to console you, bullying at school can shape you and affect your self esteem. I walked with her in the 90s and i can assure you that in the real circle of haute couture and in the entire modelling industry, everybody knew that she was better than the famous ones. The difference between them and her is that she never compromised her principles and this is why she quit 2o minutes before her last runway because she had a fight with the house as he said something very racist and she wouldn't walk for a racist. She decided right there and then that she was done with this industry. That's why she was never made as popular as the other supermodels who had no principles. But make no mistake, everybody knew she was the best of them all. And she had the kindness of the greatest. Absolutely wonderful personality.

Phenomenal video!!! I'm in my mid 40s but I was a teenager when Yasmeen was in her heyday during the supermodel era. She was so unique and statuesque. She not only had a tiny waist but also BROAD SHOULDERS, which is rare for a woman to have. A one of a kind body. She could wear anything. And yes, she was definitely the best runway walker ever.

I met her in the very early 90s on several occasion when i modeled. We became good friends and would sometimes hang out together in Europe and Asia, i especially introduced her to the gay scene of the 90s in Tokyo which was quite something ! I remember once in the hotel room we were getting ready to go out for dinner (yes she ate like a regular person and didn't put on weight, as she said she used to work at mcdonals and would eat fries and ice cream every day on her break), and i put my hands around her waist and my fingers touched. I may be a tall guy with big hands but that was still really impressive.

She not only had a tiny waist but also BROAD SHOULDERS, which is rare for a woman to have. A one of a kind body. She could wear anything. And yes, she was definitely the best runway walker ever.

I met her in the very early 90s on several occasion when i modeled. We became good friends and would sometimes hang out together in Europe and Asia, i especially introduced her to the gay scene of the 90s in Tokyo which was quite something !
I remember once in the hotel room we were getting ready to go out for dinner (yes she ate like a regular person and didn't put on weight, as she said she used to work at mcdonals and would eat fries and ice cream every day on her break), and i put my hands around her waist and my fingers touched.
