Hey! I'm Raffael, from Brazil. I love seeing your doll reviews and I love Monster High. I had my moment as a collector back in the time. It was crazy how happy I was having a doll for the first time and being an adult gay man. Monster High had (and still have) a powerful message about loving and embracing yourself as who you are. When came to me the news about a third generation I went crazy! Now I have some of them, in Brazil is not easy to have them. Not all of them are available online or in local stores, and when you find them, they are REALLY EXPENSIVE. You have no idea. So happy to see you having your first moment in the Monster High world (and with this one). This new Venus is beyond amazing. The diverse body types are so beautiful! Can't wait to see Catty Noir!! Found your channel recently and I think you’re pretty cool! I started collecting dolls since last year and was really into G3 monster high! My first G3 doll was Creepover Draculaura and she’s still my favorite doll 😍. I can’t wait to get G3 venus whenever my country has her in stock lol
Great choice for a first MH doll! Venus is stunning. G1 came out when I, also, was "too old for dolls" and no longer getting dolls to play with or collect, so I missed it. G3 is what dragged me back into dolls earlier this year. MH makes up the majority of my doll collection. Frankie was my first.

I ordered mine from target as well and when she arrived I was amazed by her colors and how gorgeous she is. I'm so glad you got one. You'll be hooked now. Also I think that bag is supposed to be in the front. I've seen botanists carry those in the front while taking care of plants

Nice review. I have wanted this doll since I saw her in Walmart, but couldn't afford to buy her. I'm hoping to get her soon. She's so pretty & unique. I'm a relatively new Monster High collector. I have 5 different Cleos (my favorite), one Deuce, and one Lagoona. I was trying to stick to Cleo's only, but I'm starting to give into my urges to buy others that I think are really interestingly designed. I have a bunch of Rainbow & Shadow High dolls, too. And some Barbie & Ken dolls.
I was hesitant to buy her right away instead of waiting for a sale, but I figured I could splurge on my first one! But it sounds like you’ve got a great collection!! I need some shadow high!
I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but the Booteny reference is a scary take on Botany. Famous Monsters of Filmland used to do those little phrases all the time.
I have a g1 venus mcflytrap (second hand and missing her outfit and right hand) i loved how unique she was with the shaved head. I am torn though with g3. the braids are great but I miss the flocked hair. The two textures would have been amazing to play around with. I'm so glad you got your first Monster High doll. My first was Draculaura basic playline (no articulation) and then I got a few more and sold them. I kept venus though. Boo-tany book is a play on words boo like monster and botany for the study of botanicals

All monsterhigh G3 core dolls soet of come with an extra bit of clothing; some with an extra shirt, or a cape or a jacket (outside of Ghoulia who I gues her accesory is her hat cause its made out of fabric). But it appears to be that they cut out giving her the pink jacket her prototype had to focus more on the actual doll since the prototype on had pink hair
@@dolls2remember there is going to be one fashion pack that will be releasing this year. The pack contains clothes for all the different types of bodies and the style is very much pride themed, I think there is one specifically for Clawdeen too but that one isnt the best one unles you get it to trace the patterns. And to a certain extent all the skulltimate secrets dolls come with alot of extra fashion and props.
If I was suggest any doll as a second it would be Abby bominable however you might want to wait and decide if you prefer her traditional doll or the new ballerina themed line

G3 Venus is nice.... but there's a legion of MH dolls that are much better than G3 Venus. Like the signature Venus from G1, for example. And Ghouls Night Venus, Black Carpet Lagoona, Kiyomi Haunterly, Collector Abbey Bominable, Vampire Heart Draculaura, Signature Honey Swamp, Gloom & Bloom Jinafire Long, Haunted Twyla, Haunted Rochelle Goyle, Signature Elissabat and Midnight Runway Spectra Vondergeist, just to name a few.
I got four one for free and the others for $10 each. I like them they are interesting. Big plus they are fully articulated so i don't have to waste stands on them. I just wish the quantity of their outfits were better. This is a pretty doll just don't like her shade of green.
This doll and most of the Monster High dolls aren't available in my country and its too expensive the get it from out country. I'm still patiently waiting for them get in stocks 🥲🤧
