This is a cover of the main theme for one of my favorite video games. In honor of Arkham Knight being released in June, I decided to cover the previous games theme. Hope you enjoy!

Guys imagine this, you hear this playing while playing Batman Arkham Knight and your watching a cutscene and during that cutscene this plays 1:54 and shows of all the times from origins to knight of Batman fighting and taking down bosses in black and white? That would be so epic..

Origins: Each of Assassins ending with Joker cutting to-
Asylum: Fighting Titan Joker on the roof with flashes of the other Asylum bosses ending with the explosive punch "I'll never let you win!"
City: Protocol 10 goes on in the background as we see the Ra's al ghul fight in a connected memory, each explosion causes a flash of another City boss, end with Clayface and Joker's death
Knight: Batman breaking from the fear toxin and defating Joker in his mind and Scarecrow in reality.

First time I play arkham city I got freaking goosebumps before I even started, then I got to Hugo strange at the end, even more GOOSEBUMPS! This is a WHOLE new level of my experience! Great job!!

My favorite game of all time. You really have done a good job with this theme.
This sounds sick! If I could constructively criticize however, I feel like the bass should have been heavier. Not enough oomph. Other than that... AMAZING!!
Hatted Sandwich I appreciate the input. Most of the time Low end strings don't carry the same power as an electric or synth bass. They are acoustic instruments so I can see how it would seem like somethings missing. I'm a drummer. I like a lot of bass, but i have to be careful and not go crazy.
Well, luckily.....I've played drums for 22 years now. I love low end, but for Orchestral compositions, you can overdo it. If you listen to any movie score....the low end for strings are nothing like a sub bass or electric bass. It may not pack the punch that you want, but it's just a different mix verses a normal song. Between Arkham asylum and Arkham city I don’t think there has ever been a more definite argument on which game is better. They are equal but so different in their own ways. Each game broke the sigma of modern video games respectively with Arkham city having the biggest sigma breaker ever in any game with the death of the joker. Honestly I have to say that both games are number one. Even the score for each game pulls you in so much

Agreed. All 3 are amazing, but Arkham City just hit different for me in 2011. I played it without stopping after waiting in line to get my copy. Beat the entire game overnight and went right to work at 7am the next day. lol.

What program did you use to make this?!
Sector5 Studios It’s EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Silver edition.
I also added some synth layers and low end sub from Logic Pro X. That’s also what I mixed and mastered in, but now I use Studio One 4 by Presonus.
Not bad. My only criticism would be to have more lower strings and brass carrying the motif. The Arkham themes have a lot of low end for that darker feel.
Thank you for the feedback. I made this 8 years ago and while I really loved composing at the time, I hadn’t done a ton of mixing. So, my mix would be a lot different now.
I will say this though. A lot of orchestral competitions don’t have the same kind of low end a normal song has.
If there’s a synth bass layer or something, it might get beefed up a little bit. Hans uses synth layers a lot.
But the actual low end section in the orchestra doesn’t naturally create an insane amount of low end unless that’s boosted by the mixing engineer. There’s a lot of components that go into those projects and a lot of it has to do with personal preference. 💯

+waqar88 Unfortunately, I can't give out an MP3 to a song I don't own or didn't write. There are some TH-cam to MP3 converter sites out there, but I would say just buy the original from Nick Arundel on iTunes. He's a genius!
You could actually just get the music from the video. There are some sites that let you extract audio from a TH-cam video.
