@@hawkeyebit4948 Actually, this place is known for its waves. They are enormous, and kind of perpetual (the noise is crazy). They are very dangerous too.
So it looks empty, because no one is supposed to go that far to the water (swimming = dying), I bet everyone was on the other side of the camera :)

Heres a story:
In school we had to write about the happiest day of our lives. I had no ideas, but then suddenly one popped out of the blue. Me, my brother, parents and my dog, Roxy, on a roadtrip. My brother was sleeping, my parents were talking and my dog was looking out the window. I wanted that moment on loop. No stress, just my family together. It may not be exiciting or eventfull, but it just made me happy and made me realize that I was lucky to have such a happy family. I was happy that we were all together, nobody was hurt and it felt so calm and safe.
When was the last moment you wished a moment could last forever?

My favorite memory was when my mom, dad, one of my brothers and I were playing a card game on Christmas eve, while my other brother and sister baked and decorated dozens of cookies and brought them to us to eat. It wasn't the presents, or participating in some exciting event. Just like your story, it was just that we were all together and happy.
Never had one with family... but the moments when I used to play gta with my friends. Typical teenage boy thing, I know. But all I felt was happy as we laughed at all the crazy moments and jokes as the night went on. I’m still young though (barely getting started with my life at this time), and I know for sure I’m gonna have amazing moments in the future.
Too many to recall. The first time I held my son, and each time he scores a touchdown. Every hike with my dogs, their joy on the mountain trail is intoxicating. I’m so glad I rescued them. So many rewarding moments volunteering with the elderly and kids. From delivering meals to helping a child navigate grief through a divorce or death. Everyone has pain in life, helping people transcend that and focus on the good because there is a reason and purpose for us to be here. Watch someone discover it and enjoy the wow.

Anyone else here just using this channel to help with study? Protip: open a second TH-cam tab and play some rain asmr at the same time - pure transcendence.
I did this in college all the time. would spend 10 minutes balancing the two videos sounds just right. During the winter I would open a 3rd tab and place crackling fireplace sounds. All-nighters were peaceful to do!
I think we can all agree that rain is pretty underrated. Yes, everything gets wet and it may be a little bit cold and uncorfortable after a while, but the feelings you get by just standing still and feeling the rain fall on you are just perfect. I don't know if it's just me, but it somehow feels as if it would clean and calm you. And if you walk through the rain while listening to music you get some type of sad but calm feelings that I never find in any other form. I somehow really enjoy those moments. I would love to stand in the rain just watching the sky without wearing my hood. However, that will never happen since my headphones aren't waterproof...
I went on a 4 mile run a few years ago, and 2 miles away, it started raining on me. I was 2 miles from dry warmth, and at first I was so annoyed at myself for putting me in that situation. However, as it started to really pour down harder I accepted it, and just like that this feeling of calmness washed over me. I felt free.
I remember walking home on New Year's Day 2004 with a friend of mine, must have been around 2 or 3 am, the streets were empty and a light rain was falling. We simply walked singing U2 songs until we reached home. It was so liberating.
Rain is Purification, a blessing from God Almighty ❤ Nothing feels better.. just stand outside, close your eyes and let God's Mercy shower over you.. Just feel it..

I come from the green, sunny Caribbean but I've lived in the Pacific Northwest in the US (where the video's pic was likely taken) for half my life. It still striking to see the difference between the oceans in both places - one saturated with color and sunlight, the other often black and white in the cold rain. Both absolutely beautiful.
I was feeling anxious, and desesperate... And somehow this song saved my life. It brought me a feeling of hope, wellness, mystery and enthusiasm. Like anything is possible. It feels familiar and new at the same time. Thank you!

hello, relic from the past. It's odd, stumbling on these small parts of yourself that are now scattered over the internet. I was not okay when I wrote that comment. But, this video calmed me then, and it calmed me now. This is my last night *here* (you know where that is). I'm leaving for uni, life is flying by - rushing past in flittering colours of smeared greys, like the view outside a car window - rushing past, rushing past, moving quicker than I can think.
