Another amazing lesson. Thank you for this. It’s absolutely an interesting and useful exercise. My deepest condolences for the loss of such a great friend and musician.
Hey Matt! Great video. I was wondering if you could make one on Rhythm Changes at some point. Got my ass kicked a little at a jam session last week when the sax player counted us in near 300. My fingers needed an ice bath after that one!
Thanks so much for your kind words! Sure, let me think about what I can do for rhythm changes - the issue is that that's going to be a pretty integral part of my first course that I'll release later in the summer hopefully. But still, I'll try to do something. Could you maybe describe one or two things (outside of the speed) that were troublesome?
Very good. It would have been more helpful if we could have seen all of your fingerings (the upper register was blocked by the music displayed). But I think I get it. Anyway, great stuff.
What a great way to work on ear, fingerboard knowledge and intonation. Plus the sounds of 4ths, 5ths and 6ths are great.
Agreed! Thanks again for watching
