The carbon one definitely is brighter. That being said, I prefer the sound of the other one. Looks like you just saved me 40 bucks. Thanks!

Had I seen this video before my purchase, I would have gone with the regular version! Thanks again for the comparison videos of both types and both sizes!

Maybe it's me...but I find the first one(Standard) to be much more in tune and has a fuller sound, less "plinky" than the "Carbon Fiber" one. Great review! PS: Which of the two has a much lower action?!...Thank you Vic. Mario

They do sound different. No clue about the action as I don’t have them anymore.

@@VicSchmeltz :-O Hi Vic, I guess they are lent to you by Ukulele companies?!...or maybe they are not that great. Just saying. I know I got rid of mine a long time ago. It sounded awful, plinky, and a muffled sound and way too high of an action. I am referring to the very first sopranos they made.

They are from the same molds. Action should be identical.
