Tashi Choiling Gumba || 8th Guru Dhakpo Puja concludes ||

Today, Guru Dhakpo Puja was summed up at Tashi Choiling Gumba, Dara Gawn, Sonada. It was the 8th puja started by Tashi Choiling Gumba under the leadership of respected Champala Lama Rapgey, alias Dorjee Lopen. The puja was conducted for a week. Actually, Guru Dhakpo Puja is a Tibetan Buddhist ritual ceremony dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche. The puja (worship or ritual) is performed for various reasons, including: 1. to pay homage and express gratitude to Guru Rinpoche, considered the 2nd Buddha. 2. To seek blessings, guidance, and protection from Guru Rinpoche. 3. To bring peace, harmony, and well-being to individuals and the community. 4. to purify negative actions and obstacles. 5. To commemorate important events in Guru Rinpoche's life and legacy.
The puja typically involves chanting, meditation, offerings, and visualization led by qualified lamas, rinpochey, and Buddhist practitioners.
Today, puja included puja, wang, offerings, and cham (dance). Thanks to all the organizing team members, and congratulations on the successful completion of such a big event.
