If you want the spring back to normal function I assume it's just turned counterclockwise and can it be turned too far or will you start to feel resistance when you get tords point it needs to stop just like when you got when tightening spring down? My DJI FPV was this way when I got it and I'm new to it so want it back to stock till I learn to fly
@@illuminatedrones I’ve been playing with the DJI virtual fly app & in Manual mode the pitch feels opposite to what I want. Sadly I can’t find anywhere in the settings to do this so I’ll have to retrain my brain
Yeah, that is normal drone flying. Think of pitch up as being pitch forward, because it effects the forward movement of flight. Pitch down is pitch back.
Unfortunately a played with the RIGHT stick too, as it seemed too much while flying... now im paranoid that I dont know how to set it back to ,,factory´´
Thx for tutorial. My deadzone is off on the right stick. Do you know how to calibrate deadzone center of sticks? So when I let go of stick it will actually stay center and not flight gently to one direction. Any help is appreciated thx

Hay bro so if you take off in normal mode with the stick at half throttle wile your in the air and you switch to manual mode where should the stick be when you switch still in the middle?
Yes, that is correct. That controls the throttle, not ascend/descend like on a Mavic. Since you are new to FPV, I actually have a free training for you that will really help you get into FPV. You can see it here: www.fpvunlocked.com/topfive1
Erm sorry to say but is it always that hard to push after doing this if i loosen it - it will recenter to quickly and for the sake i bought a second one and it also makes it very hard to push/pull the throttle after the manual setup my other controllers didn’t worked that hard against my thumb also mode 4 would be great to try but dji topically nop
This is the first thing I did and when I tried the simulator app my throttle stick was not responding so I couldn't fly. Does your throttle stick make noise spring noise? Mine made this noise before I did anything and the right stick doesn't make this noise. I'm just trying to figure out if my controller is broken or if I can fix it if it's something I have done. I haven't done updates or tried to fly my drone yet. However it's kinda sketchy that the app couldn't pick the throttle at all but it picked pause/start button.
@@illuminatedrones So I didn't change my adjustments because I didn't think it was to tight. I can confirm you have to activate and firmware update before using simulator.
@@illuminatedrones I've done this a few times and it always comes back. The other day I was landing and the drone fell from the sky. I've flown drones for over 5 years and never had so many issues. I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it. Hopefully my next one won't have so many issues.
@@illuminatedrones I tried with the F1 and F2 screws in the right stick, but they only regulate the vertical tension of stick (pitch). Do you know if it's possible to regulate the yaw and roll also?
@@alejandroiskander1491 I believe they only let you control the vertical spring tension. Your average FPV controller has a spring for yaw and roll as well.
@@illuminatedrones I feel the tension of the sticks are very soft, it's a little annoying. It's desirable a higher tension in yaw, so when throttling up and down is not accidentally putting input on yaw. The same with roll and pitch.
@@illuminatedrones Perhaps it is possible to modify it inside the remote controller, but I still do not dare to open it so as not to lose the supplier guarantee.
F1 screw controls resistance, F2 controls centering.
Tighten F1 to increase resistance, Tighten F2 to remove centering, respectively.
Finally found a good video on the best way to this correctly. Was searching for ages. Many thanks for the clear demonstration!
Glad it helped!
2:16 can we fly in sport or normal mode with it

Great video. Thank you so much bro. Now I can go practice in the simulator. Cheers!
Wish he explained what the F1 vs F2 screws do to the sticks. I’m new to this FPV world so the DJI is my first experience so I’m learning a lot thanks
F1 controls the spring resistance, and F2 controls the center adjustment.

Hello. How can I make this setting via betaflight, not the remote?
Throttle stick should stay in the middle but Throttle should be 0. THANKS
Hey bro how do you fix the control stick error in the googles of the FPV drone?
Unfortunately a played with the RIGHT stick too, as it seemed too much while flying... now im paranoid that I dont know how to set it back to ,,factory´´
My rc can’t calibrate, do you know how to fix it? The right stick can’t go to 100% left/right. Anyone can help?
Nice video but what is the setting of joystick do you use mode 1/2/3 ??
I use Mode 2.
Great video, thank you 🙏
I stripped the screw is there any way to get it out?
Can you fly normal mode and sports mode with the throttle stick tightened?
Yes, you can.

PIDs, rates and expo are set in the goggles
I'm getting a remote controller stick error. Would you happen to know how to fix that or figure out what the problem actually is?
What is the error you are seeing?

It actually will force you to move the stick into a certain position before it switches to Manual. Try it out and you’ll see the diagram.

You will need to find a happy medium. I settled with about three full turns less than tight. Up to you how tight you want it.
Thanks bro.
You bet!
is there any infomation about the V2 Controller will work with current air units ?
Currently it does not.
@@illuminatedrones Hmmm ok! Is it worth to switch from frsky to dji or better switch to crossfire
@@renesfoodpassion I use crossfire because the DJI air unit controller link is not good.
I saw it says 2% on the controller when collaborating
when i did f1 and f2 the left stick still springs sideways though? it only tightens up and down?
Yes, springing side to side is how normal transmitters are setup so you are good to go!
Thanks for the video. So once you change the stick response, you cannot fly in N and S modes until you change it back?
No, you can still fly those modes, you just have to be careful how you use the throttle then.
This is the first thing I did and when I tried the simulator app my throttle stick was not responding so I couldn't fly. Does your throttle stick make noise spring noise? If you have it too tight it might make a scraping noise but mine doesn’t unless I let it go when it is pulled back without tightening it down.
