How was this house more than $200k in that condition? My God. My house in Las Vegas is 2,700 sq ft, built in 2011. Paid less than $180k, brand new.

I love it I think the only downfall would be from myself personally I have 3 young children and if I was gonna buy a house this big it would obviously be because I have a bunch of kids and you only have showers not one bathtub and that would be why I would not purchase as house.. Me and my husband are in the middle of buying a home right now and I can't believe how many houses just don't even have bathtubs there was so many beautiful houses I looked at and I had to pass because I have 3 young daughters who all still take bath one of them being a baby so as beautiful as this houses I would have to pass because of no bathtub..

It honestly is very scary
Well, to be honest. I’ve been in my house 25 years. My style has gone through some evolution, too. I look back and cringe at what I did in the late 90’s. My kitchen has been redecorated three times. I’m pretty sure some kids out there now are all going to laugh at their parents’ stainless steel appliances someday. And already the “gray, gray, gray everywhere!” is about done.
Should’ve called it the DiWHY house 😂

But the property brothers don't flip houses.. they renovate for people .. and they work with the budget that they are given.. and i think maybe they focus and show rooms that they did the most renovations and with drastic changes..

Hmmm I mostly like what you did but I think there was a miss in the Master Bathroom: that huge shower stall seems pointless because there is no reason for the size. In order to make it useful, you should have put in a second showerhead and/or a bench for seating. By not putting anything at the far end, the size of the shower is just a head-scratcher and wasted space. It's not really usable for two people because the person on the end with no showerhead will get really cold.
I would have put in a Japanese soaking tub in the empty end.

Almost sane thought except I find that I don't typically enjoy the built in shower benches. Usually they get so cold so I'd probably enjoy finding one made of a wood or bamboo of some sort

How can a house that’s 18 years old look so old!?!? Before the renovation this house was just strange!
I grew up in Fort Worth and that kitchen was the EXACT layout and colors as the one I had as a kid! My mind is blown after seeing the transformation on it! It was like seeing my childhood kitchen renovated! This is my favorite flip to date. :)

beautifully done !! My only two changes would be to add hardware to all the bathroom vanities and have a nicer master shower with rain head, body sprays, etc. One single head in a giant shower seems a bit wasted.

This show makes me feel super old...lmao as someone that grew in the Round Rock, Georgetown & Pflugerville area circa 2000. It’s like people walking through my friends and mine house judging the interior... lol I so distinctively remember going to sleepovers in the homes with this exact floor plan like this ahh the memories...
A home with several bedrooms I would presume this to be for a family with children. You need a bathtub when you've got kids. This home certainly had ample space to have one.
They even mentioned they thought the house would fit a family. They both have kids.
For that much expense. The tub is a must. That killed the deal. What large family has zero kids?

I love this flip and the dark colors with the white! My kind of style! The only thing I’d want changed is the shower in the master bathroom. It’s so large that it should have some fancy shower head everywhere!😂

Hey, I made similar comments about my house when I bought it, “Really, red white and blue living dining room, midnight blue hallway - renamed the shrinking walls Disney hall ect”. I grew up in Austin. We were a family of 5 and lived in 5 bedroom house. 4 up and 1 down. My folks bought it because we thought my father's mother was going to continue to live with us. Not so, but my mother's father lived with us several winters before his death. My brother's room was big enough to have a trundle bed, desk, dresser and a pool table. Mine was big enough for two twin beds end to end with a 4 foot bookcase between the foot of the beds, with room to spare. I could also put the twin beds side to side on the short wall with the door. My sister had a full bed with plenty of room and it was the smallest of the rooms.
I feel like there’s a Christmas song of DIYs to the tune of “12 days of Christmas” potential here 🤣

Odd request, but I would LOVE to see you guys take over a small project! You always go big and everything looks amazing! But you guys should completely make over a Trailer or a tiny house. Like a rags to riches type deal. It probably wouldnt be that expensive considering the size.
