    1. Build up a TH-cam Channel
    2. Find a company
    3. Purchase stocks
    4. Contact that company and say you want them to sponsor your next video
    5. Released sponsored video and watch your viewers gain intrest in that company.
    6. Sell stocks a week or so later
    BOOM. You're rich.

      +Mr Music Actually I would have, but now as Martin Winterkorn quit his job the stock was on the rise again, so it would have been to late maybe its back down again but don't know. The Stock was down to under 100€, it was falling by over 20% a day for two days straight and as its one of the biggest Car companies on this planet, maybe even the biggest, it will be back up again in a relatively small amount of time. I actually considered buying some but I haven't had any expierience so I didn't.

      Ardiak Beltz Politics is always about money because money is power and power is politics. You can't have one without the other. And yeah, the EU not all that good. I'd prefer it if our country would either get out of the EEC or go into the EU. Right now, we are a "member" of the EU without having anything to say about their rules and regulations.

    • @Arkume8Beltz
      @Arkume8Beltz 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      GengarTV That is the problem..money is only paper..we give it power..(like in the Monopoly game..), politics are only puppets of the multinationals & lobbies..i have deutch, austrian, italiano, portugesh friends..and the problems are the same..a roted social system..executive power, power legislature & ??..intimately related..
      Democracy? What is it..XD

      Ardiak Beltz I'd rather commit to a system then live like a caveman. Sure, money is the root of all evil but the definition of evil is ALSO something we humans created just like money.
      Without the financial system, you would not be on youtube reading comments right now, you'd be outside plowing the field or harvesting.
      Yes, I do see your point, we are a slave to a system but this system has benefits and we are a small cog in a massive clockwork.

      +Joshua Walters Join the National Guard. Most have a Tuition Waiver program for all public colleges and your duties to the National Guard are only one weekend a month, plus two weeks every year, not including a deployment of course. Additionally, the GI Bill for National Guard grants over $300 a month during the semester. While you still have to cover Student Fees, that's usually around $1000, plus whatever your books cost, but I learned ways around buying books for class. It usually meant borrowing someone's textbook and photocopying the necessary pages.
      That being said, I still have debt because I joined late. If I joined at the start of my college life, I wouldn't have to worry, though it should be noted that there is also a Student Loan Repayment Program for certain jobs. I'm due for a renewal of my contract, so that's the first thing I ask for, since it covers about $30k worth of federal loans.

    The P/E ratio and the gross dividend yield also helps inform you of how good the dividend payouts are, which can be sweet sweet extra money if you hold onto the stocks/shares long enough. Re-investment schemes where a company asks you if you want shares instead of a dividend payment can be worth it if you're in for the long haul over YEARS, but not otherwise to the serious investor.
    Also, if you hold onto stocks/shares long enough, you will be asked to vote at annual meetings to elect new board members. If you've only got a few hundred stocks/shares to your name, you can probably abstain and things'll be all right. However if you are going to the effort to research companies and have significant enough holdings, you probably should do your research for the board elections and vote accordingly. For instance if the companies they've previously been with have tanked, you probably don't want to vote them in. If they're a newbie or have experience in a completely different market, probably a good idea to exercise caution.

    • @DanielLCarrier
      @DanielLCarrier 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +TDL Novasonus That's quite a bit harder. There are plenty of parties that became major parties, but one of the other ones generally immediately falls out of favor. You'd have to change the system. I've heard other countries got it to work by having you vote for a party, and then the number of candidates a party gets on parliament is proportional to the number of votes they got. I don't know exactly how well that works.

    My trading method I borrowed from Dave Ramsey. He splits it into 25% across the four big investing areas. He invests in big, medium, and small sized stocks. then puts the remaining 25% into International companies. Usually you should put it into a mutual fund that has shown more than an 8% growth for the past 10 or so years.

    Okay so I'll break this down in a way that helps kind of translate the title.
    Well first of all this doesn't teach you how to be a "Wolf" of Wall Street. The principle of a "Wolf" is derived from the saying, "A Wolf in Sheeps clothing". The reason for this is because back when stockbroking was a much larger and much less tainted industry, back in the 70s through 90s(aka pre internet) it was much easier and much more viable to be a licensed stock-broker. This was basically what Jordan Belfort, aka "The Real Wolf of Wall Street" did. He sold stocks to people as a broker and advertised and basically helped make people money. So... why is he a "Wolf". Well although he baited in his potential clients with blue-chip stocks like Kodak, he would then persuade his clients to re-invest in penny stocks. I mean, penny stocks are a good thing, they need to exist in order for the economy to function. I mean back in the early, early ass days of pretty much every major corporation like Google, Microsoft or Apple, the shares would have been worth practically nothing. Or pennies. What these penny stockbroking firms would do, is basically try and sell the idea of these companies to their clients who would desperately seek the investment. In return the company would have to pay the firm a ridiculous commission percentage. This is completely legal and actually something that is very positive for successful companies and can be very beneficial in the long term for investors if they have faith in the company. Like in the 90s when Google was just a Garage, investing in that company via a broker would be beneficial for literally everyone involved. There was no losers. However the stocks don't always work out and there's a much larger risk associated with Penny stocks thus large investments aren't really seen as a smart idea. So what the "Stratton Oakmont" business model was, was to build trust and rapport with a customer and then sell them potentially risky stocks in hopes of making the insane commission fees. Which worked, is completely legal and is still possible today, however it is far more difficult as things like the Telephone Preference Service, Cold-Calling regulations etc. make it difficult. However the real question is: is it ethical? Well, not really. It's praying on gullible investors in hopes of making a quick buck. It's not immoral by any means, but it's a little cold-hearted. What Jordan did, in partnership with Mr. Steve Madden was commit what's known as the "Pump and Dump" microcap stock fraud scheme. Which is when they have all the stock owned by involved personnel, then artificially inflate the value of said stock, once all the shares are sold and the brokerage is absolutely rolling in commission, ex-stock holders are rolling money and the company itself is rolling in money. The stock drops rapid, losing most of it's value and pretty much failing on thousands of investors. This kind of explains what happens in the film, but this kind of happen a number of times in the real thing and there was a lot of money laundering. See the whole "Rat-hole" scene, yea that's money laundering and it's the same thing that you can see happening in 80's era films like Scarface. I mean, Jordan had the opportunity to actually remain legal and ethical through his whole shenanigans but got greedy during the course and it basically collapsed under his feet when he tried to manipulate the market in his favour. In interviews now he talks about it all the time and he even refused to make money from certain aspects of his career as he felt that profiting from his past crimes is as unethical as it is to actually commit the crimes. This video actually deals more with what's known as being a "Sole Trader", which is effectively starting your own small-time investment bank. The principle is you invest money in exchange for a share in the company. In films such as "American Psycho" you can get an inside on what it looks and feels like from the "big boys" who pay millions to their employees to invest in potential companies. The Romney family(yes, Presidential Candidate Romney's family) actually specialize in investing in up and coming companies, then selling off all the assets of said company to other companies for profit. If there is anything I can tell you guys, it's that money is a very strange and addictive idea. If you actually are interested in how stocks, currency, finance etc. all works then I seriously recommend studying it. I mean, the best of luck to everybody but, as long as you keep your ethics in check you can do anything.
