Grand Paris: the RER A cut until August 18 - Replacement Shuttle

Green or brown bus? This is the question that users of the two eastern branches of the RER A will ask themselves for ten days. From Wednesday August 9 until Friday August 18 inclusive, the busiest railway line in Europe is interrupted, in both directions, between Nation (Paris, XII) and Val-de-Fontenay then Fontenay-sous-Bois (Val de Marne).
Vincennes station (Val-de-Marne) will be completely closed and a replacement bus service will be put in place. Brown buses will connect Château-de-Vincennes and Val-de-Fontenay. The greens will make the junction between Château-de-Vincennes and Fontenay-sous-Bois. To go from Nation to Vincennes, the RATP recommends taking metro line 1.
Regular bus lines are also reinforced, such as 77, 118, 124, 210 or 114. Trains going to Marne-la-Vallée (Seine-et-Marne) and Boissy-Saint-Léger continue to roll, but they will all end at Val-de-Fontenay and Fontenay-sous-Bois.
The green and brown buses run "every three to five minutes on average between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and a maximum of 12 minutes at the end of service". For the Château-de-Vincennes - Fontenay-sous-Bois journey by bus, allow ten minutes (one way). And to go from Château-de-Vincennes to Val-de-Fontenay by bus, allow twenty minutes (one way).

“Note that to get to Val-de-Fontenay, travelers are invited to use the RER E from Haussmann Saint-Lazare. Those coming from Marne-la-Vallée Chessy can take the RER E at Val-de-Fontenay to reach Paris”, advises the RATP.
