Wow. What a long one. Couple things! 27:00 I REALLY like the idea of enemies behaving differently when more/less geared players interact with them. Particularly, I like a certain level of scaling difficulty for the PvE aspect of the game. New players can just slide by the Gnolls, but someone with some JUICE better get ready for a fight. Furthermore on this subject, I think this document hits the nail on the head that crafting should be a primarily first-floor endeavor. Following your argument on 49:00, this kind of crafting as an incentive to *go deeper* may provide an easier (pve-light) mode for gamers just trying to get by. While the *GIGACHAD PVP (REAL)* compilation makers go all the way down into the dungeon, I will be happily picking flowers and teaching noobs NOT to piss of the Ent. Indeed, it could have a positive effect on the atmosphere of “respecting the crouch”. Following 36:00 , having a crafting atmosphere on the first floor, assuming these crafted goods are more generally starter oriented, will likely provide a more *see a frand make a frand* atmosphere than the dungeons *MURDER KILL LOOT* culture we have now. And, on that note, while it would be cool 37:25 for parties to randomly meet and organize a dragon hunt, let's think about what that actually means. Depending on when this organization takes place, (likely pre-game if the World of Warcraft Devilsaur Mafia is of any comparison) that would mean a *6 player Giga-Gank* squad would be roaming the dungeon from the start. You think the pubstomping is bad now? Man, it would need a dedicated DRAGONSLAYERS que to prevent absolute CHAOS from erupting (though, I think that might stop the inevitable betrayal after dragon kill memes I so desire). Regardless, I think this is some excellent concept work from the person who put this vid together, and I found your insights and viewing of it quite enjoyable... P.S. on the skinning thing, 39:50 it is absolutely arbitrary what you can and can't skin. My general gamer rule of thumb is, "If it doesn't make me feel like a cannibal, I guess it's ok". Non-beastial Lizard-Folk are OFF the menu.
