Big shout out to Serious Watches….I just received mine last night. Super fast shipping from the Netherlands, very thoughtfully packaged with a personal note. The watch even made it to the east coast still running set to local time here. You can tell they care. Will definitely buy from them again. Oh, and the watch is a stunner.

juste got mine 2 weeks ago. i love it !! i was looking for a japanese watch, initially orient, then a stumbled on this one and straight away its colour brought back memories of climbing in the mountains with my grandfather (it's aptly named!). it was impossible not to think about it and so i bought it, no regrets. on the other hand, i'm looking for a bracelet with a pin buckle because on my thin woman's wrist, this bracelet i don't really like this type of bracelet, in the same colour (still haven't found it!).
Did I miss it, or did you not demonstrate the compass bezel feature? That's what I came to see demonstrated, but seems like you didn't mention it at all.
It is only available in Europe right? I ordered one and it arrived 2 weeks ago. It is a very nice watch but the folding clasp of the bracelet is not very comfortable imo. It’s to much curved so pushes into the skin on my wrist. I have a 17cm wrist. ✌🏻
The thing I don't like most about these watch videos is that they don't show the buckle clearly for a longer period of time. I wish you had worn it on your left wrist so we could see the buckle clearly. It's gray on the original strap.
Not sure why you say that, my SPB210 is incredibly accurate to +1 sec a day. I have my Apple Watch with an analog face as a reference to it everyday. It wasn’t this accurate OOB new. I adjusted it over a one week period trial and error as I don’t have the electronic watch timegrapher. The 6R35 is easy to adjust and good reserve of 70 hours for the weekend.

Wow, what a rarity, the compass bezel inside lines up with the hour indices! Have the green/gold one and it’s bit skewed.
The only Alpinist i've ever been thrilled about and that i'd be stoked to own is the titanium SSASS limited edition model.

Really like the new alpinists but no stamp on the crown.. just a really small thing that stops me buying one.
That's a beauty, too bad it's sold out! So tired of these limited editions.

The blue doesn't work. Black would have been far better.
