    Hi there friend. Thanks so much for this video. Didn't even know this device existed. More so, disappointed I didn't think up such a simple but genius idea till now. Funny, could have really used one a few days ago but improvised with blocks. Curious if they have these things in Australia? I'd get one for sure.

      Both threads are available. Just know, the tallest extension limits your weight capacity you can lift. The smaller ones does not.

      Just know, the shorter saddle alone and/or the 6” extension gives you full weight capacity for your jack. Once you add the 11” extension your weight capacity drops by roughly 50%.

    For those concerned about the safety of our extension, we go into more detail about using the long extensions and how to jack with them in the following link. At some point we will do a field test showing it, but you can use your imagination for now. Or maybe @Diesel Legiance can do a follow up video?.... Here's our take on jacking with extensions.... th-cam.com/video/aP1dTidLrDc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=h3X2gN61Kt-ew0iq&t=1354

    It doesn't give you any more leverage just a higher lift capability ALSO they are not "thin threads" they are fine threads !! Cool video

    Ever worry about the jack tipping over?

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I worry about the jack tipping over on many occasions when jacking up a lifted truck high. I normally use wood blocks as extension when needed and I worry. The 12” metal extension piece is not meant to really jack up heavy diesel trucks but the 6” extension works fine. I rarely use the 12” though.

  • @thepitpatrol
    @thepitpatrol 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I have got too honest. I'm a farmer. I'll throw a 20' extension ladder in the loader bucket of a 6220 John Deere and lift it 20' off the ground, but that looks pretty sketchy.

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They claim the 6” extension gives you max capacity of your jack. As you go higher the capacity of your jack would drop. For the limited times I need to jack my lifted truck up to get it on jack stands, this works for me.

    I am not so sure it is a good idea to recommend this contraption for a floor jack. You didn't even show a simple test lift of your truck. What happens when the floor jack goes through its arc of motion and tends to roll the floor jack under the truck. Is that extension capable of the side load to roll the floor jack? This is something which certainly should be tested by the Automotive Lift Insitute before you claim it is safe. Check them out they are in Cortland NY.

      I am no mechanic, I am simply trying out a product that I found to work for me. All I am suggesting is this may be better than stacking wood blocks. Again, this is not for everyone. It’s for lifted vehicles when you need to jack it up higher to fit a taller jack stand under.

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also, I got this info from the manufacturer. If you use the 6” extension you get full limit of your jack. As you go taller your jack limit drops.
      Recommended limits - full jack rating w/ 6” ext. -75% of jack rating w/ 11” ext. - 50% of jack rating w/both stacked at 16” ext.

    BULLSHIT.....THERES A REASON WHY YOU DONT SHOW THIS JACK BEING USED..😂😂😂

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      lol I think you all missed the point. I never said it’s meant to jack everything up no matter the weight. It’s used for certain circumstances on lifted vehicles where a standard jack can’t reach. The listing states that the taller extension reduces what you can lift so you need to be mindful. The smaller extension has no reduction in the weight lifted. It’s not for everyone and it’s safer than using a wood block. But go ahead and feel the need to voice your opinions.
