I've waited more than a decade for something like this! Now I can finally make a regiment of Estalian swordsmen for my Empire army. They scale pretty well with GW State Troops.
Yes, but these models ar smaller than games workshop. You are better off 3d printing the 32mm Scarlet Crusade minis from Titan Forge at 90% height scale.
@@DaclaudLee Would it not be better to just print their 28mm version? Is there something that justifies your way? I am getting a printer ATM and I wanted to know more before I get to it. Thank you kindly
I hope to see more unboxing videos in the future. I really enjoyed it and fast and easy painting tutorial was excellent. Best of Luck 😉 And thank you !
An amazing painting job on some amazing figures. What is the lacquer you use? For years after I have finished a unit, I would lacquer them with Army Painter Anti-shine, which is really more of a semi-gloss, then I would hit them with Testor's Dull Cote to take off the shine. Well, in America anyway, they don't make Testor's Dull Cote any more. I prefer to have no shine on my figures. These figures have no shine--looking good. Can you give me a clue here? Thanks!
..a really informative video , ..I'm a miniature painter of many years experience but still picked up more than a few ways to improve my work , received the two sprues a short while ago and I'm starting assembly and priming later today , ..these will be Conquistadors but do Border Reivors look a possibility ? ..not sure if Wargame Atlantic make mounted Conquistadors but if they do just think of the kitbash potential !! ...
Guy on TH-cam paiting 28 mm figure: "and a spot of black here and here for the pupils of the eyes ..." Me painting 28 mm figure: "Is that facial hair? I think it's facial hair. Maybe I should paint it ... oh damn, got some on the shoe, guess I should fix that." But seriously -- great job. I'm actually here just to try to figure out how to put the pieces together. Seeing painting jobs like this inspires me to try to do better. Thanks.
Man, those look awful. Shallow details, none on the side, stiff bad sculpts, cast really badly. I understand you want to sell these things, and your painter is great, but that's going to be a truly hard sell.
@@larsgottlieb Are you referring to Pizzaro's Lost Legion? Those were some great figures and go well with Mark Copplestone's incomplete El Dorado range from sculpted the Wargames Foundry.
I don't expect high quality from Wargames Atlantic, but parts can be of use on other figures, if the sizes match. The Assault Group and Eureka have complete Conquistador ranges and they do match in height, though not proportions with GW Dogs of War miniatures.
@@Condottiero_Magno There are several useful minis scattered through the Empire metal ranges from Citadel. Not a lot, but they are definitely better than .. that
@@Condottiero_Magno I kinda expect quailty from everybody, all the time. But especially when people I generally admire call them excellent. Perhaps that's my fault =P

Did you end up making them? I am too keen to make a small Estalia force.

I've had my eye on them, look perfect for some Mordheim kitbashing!
Those will work for king phillips war
Great job, thanks for the video.
best glue to use?
How many rodeleros can you make from one of those boxes exactly?
When are the partisans be released again???
This is not a Wargames Atlantic video, just a review of their stuff, so can't help you with that. Didn't realise they had stopped being sold. Sorry.
Ah. Empire state troops 😉
😊😊😊
Lovely paint jobs but the eyes are a bit odd 😮
It's almost like the casting is so bad that there's only a gentle suggestion of where eyes might perhaps possibly be ..
MORDHEIMS

The Perries did better Conquistador models 30 years ago. C'mon ppl.
