Mabuhay Mitch, as a former airline employee, I must commend you on this amazing rendezvous. It is obvious, as you said, you did your research. Passengers can Transit Without Visa (TWOV) in many countries, depending on their passport and nationality. I hope you will do more videos like this. I really enjoy the narration. It felt like a scene from the discovery channel.
I have been to your beautiful country, and I really enjoy the hospitality and friendliness of the Filipino people. Salamat Po.

Hello! Thank you so much for your nice feedback; i appreciate it a lot. 😊 I plan to do another one like this with a long stop either in Morocco or Brazil where my passport isn’t required of any visa. It might take a while though as it is quite expensive. Anyhow, thank you very much for watching my travel blog. Nice to know you’ve been here in the Philippines! My second time to watch this.
Russians may be reserved with strangers (USSR era influence) but they are even friendlier and hospitable than Filipinos once they got to know you. The dutch are the opposite - they appear friendly but it is difficult to get into their circle if you want to get closer.
You're lucky you have accomplished this "mission" pre-Covid pandemic.

    • @chukkoi

Hello Reese! Yes, unfortunately I happen to belong to a country where it’s tough for many of its citizens to obtain a Schengen or UK visa. With the strict/tough requirements, many don’t apply at all for fear of rejection other than it demands proof that you either have a huge sum in your bank account or have a stable and high paying job. My intention is simply to visit Europe, to see the world even if it feels like being confined in an “aquarium”, restricted only at the airports. That’s what I can afford for now but it’s a dream partly fulfilled thru this kind of travel. What I wanted to show is that if one really likes to see Europe and if they don’t mind the cost, this limited travel is possible. Thru all this I’ve met wonderful people along the way, made seemingly difficult people eventually smile, saw wonderful things Europe has to offer even thru a glimpse. I’m very grateful, even for the short stays in each airport, I had this chance. And for viewers/subscribers like you, my heartfelt gratitude for your support. Thank you very much. 💖💖💖

@@chukkoi I'm as confused as the airport employees. The visa requirements aren't very high.
What Documents are Required when Applying for a Schengen Visa?
The following list of documents are required for any short-term Schengen visa application:
Visa application form. Fully completed and signed.
Two recently taken photos must be attached. Both photos must be taken within the last three months, according to the visa photo requirements.
A valid passport. Not older than 10 years and it should valid for at least three more months beyond the date you plan to leave Schengen area. Older passports with visas on them (if you have any).
Round trip reservation or itinerary. It must include dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from the Schengen area. You can use the visa consultation services like this one. These guys can handle most of your visa requirements such as flight itineraries, hotel reservations along with free consultation over email.
Travel insurance policy. A document that proves you have travel health insurance for the whole Schengen territory, with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros in case of any medical emergency as illnesses, accidents and even repatriation in case of death. The Insurance policy can easily be purchased online from AXA Schengen or Europ Assistance.
Proof of accommodation. A document that shows where you will be accommodated throughout your stay in Schengen. This can be one of the following:
      A hotel/hostel booking.
      A rental agreement.
A letter of invitation from a host at whose house you will be staying.
Proof of financial means. Evidence that you have enough money to support yourself financially throughout your stay in the Schengen. This can be one of the following:
Bank account statement - that shows you have enough money in your account for the trip. The statement shall be no older than 3 months.
Sponsorship Letter - by another person that confirms they will be financially supporting your trip to the Schengen. In order for this letter to be valid, it must be accompanied by a bank statement of the sponsor, no older than three months.
A combination of your bank account statement and a letter of sponsorship.
Proof of paid visa fee. €80 for adults and €45 for children from 6 to 12 years old.
The requirement is that you can afford to be in the Schengen Zone. If you can afford all of these flights, I don't understand why you couldn't apply for a visa for one of these places.
It's a funny video but there wasn't a lot of point to all of this. Pick a place, get a visa for it and go there.

As for Leeds, my friend (and travel buddy seen in some of my blogs) is from Leeds... but I’m not sure if that’s the same place. He’s been inviting me to visit and do planespotting at Leeds Bradford Airport. Not sure if that’s the same area. But hopefully I get to visit and perhaps make blogs there. I can only look at it as a drive to improve my situation so I can enjoy my goals one of these days. I'm actually saving up this year to meet the requirements in applying for a Schengen visa. With what I saw, Europe's worth saving up for. I want to visit again and hopefully this time I'll be free to enter and exit the surrounding countries. As for the flight attendant, I was surprised she messaged me in Instagram! She saw herself in my blogs is now following my account and liking some of my posts. I followed her too. Hope I'd see her again in one of my future flights with KLM. BTW, thank you for watching my travel blog! :-)

When I first got to Russia, i was honestly saddened not to see welcoming smiles at the airport. But from my research that Russians don’t easily smile at strangers, i’ve accepted that fact and was still challenged to talk to some staff at the airport. True that it takes a while to make them smile (and laugh) and when you make them do, it felt like you’re friends who haven’t seen each other for a long time! 😄 The vodka offered to me was very good! Even the bar tender became friendly enough to care and warn me not to drink too much. Vodka is that good that I might miss my early flight to Amsterdam. 😁 Would love to visit Russia again, hopefully next time with a visa! (They're like waffle cookies with caramel inside. The Netherlands are pretty famous for them.) Also, if only the world hadn't been turned upside-down by COVID, then I would have pointed out that there are a couple of places in Europe where Filipinos CAN go (yes, outside of the airport) without visas. Examples include Northern Cyprus and Svalbard. I'm kicking myself for not going to Svalbard yet. NO ONE needs a visa to go there, and it's home to the global seed vault! You could also see the Northern Lights there in winter. Maybe some day things will open up again. Let's hope they do. At any rate, thanks for bringing us along for your trip. Greece isn't contiguous with the rest of Schengen though, although I feel it might be easier to get a visa there. So you may need to dedicate a full travel to Greece initially and the rest of Schengen later. Belgium is much closer to the main European destinations so you may probably try to apply with them first.
