Honestly 4.0 isn't just trash because of the rp, it's shit dev work, countless mechanics broken or not finished, constant server problems and crashes
What you expect they had to do something when their whitelist server had 15 players on it at peak times for a week straight. Turns out that something was releasing 3.5.
Those can be worked on but pd and doj as a whole doesnt seem to even have a chance to rework them self they already to power hungery and its this early in the 4.0 they might as well go ahead and pull 5.0 out the ass because 4.0 pd is dog water
Ive played cities that arent even whitelisted that had better pd rp then 4.0 and the sops for the pd are pretty much the same for real life due to they have 3 actual police officers that work within the city they helped them work on them and tweak them to make the rp possible

When cops disregard negotiations like that, it starts a ripple effect where crims will no longer respect negotiations either, and everything becomes a shitshow where negotiations mean nothing and everyone will just lie and do whatever the second the "negotiations" end, or people just won't even bother with it anymore, which then limits the RP they create.
It is similar to if crims say they will release a hostage for free passage, but the second they start to drive off, they shoot the hostage. Every time.
Cops stand to lose almost nothing, criminals lose time/money/items/etc. so idk why a lot of these cops chase the W so hard.
Unless someone can help me understand why cops always lie and shoot in situations like this. I understand holding a cop hostage is a major deal, and cops don't want it to become a trend or be easy to do, but I feel like this isn't the way to go about it.
Tbf, cops have allways shot after other cops got held hostage, as soon as they release hostages, they allways shoot, kind of expected

Okay this is crazy talk. Why would you ever want cops to chill. They rp a more realistic version. Cops are suppose to do their job. In many of the cases these cops are way too lenient.

As much as I agree some cops in nopixel are garbage, the prodigy cops we’re so lenient with CG it made chases seem like they had no risk
They got the best version of the cops on Prodigy. Yes, they were better.
However, NP, especially with 4.0, brings viewers and content. Simple facts. LK peaked around 10k viewers on Prodigy. Rn, he is peaking around 30k.
Be real, the only reason Mr K did real estate, telecommunications etc was to avoid what he hates the most: grinding.
Instead of constantly adding new shit into the server can the devs not focus on fixing all the broken shit in the server first? The sewers was a great addition but the amount of bugged shit in 4.0 compared to 3.0 is alarming lol this was the type of shit we watched in 2.0 constant head pops and scuffed items

CG just came up against the stronger gang unfortunatly and that is the cops. Allowed to bring in all units vs cg. Which is ridiculous. Lol
bad negotiation imo. One hostage has to come with them for the initial drive off. Hostage needs to sit in the line of fire with the driver. In this case back right. Negotiate driving off with the hostage, no following and negotiate a dropoff point for the hostage. Once the dropped of police officer calls via radio that he is released, then you can chaise and the policer officer that was released can give callouts.

Yes Mr.K would end up in prison anyways but would be a bit more RP than just the same "drive off get shot get caught or get away".
Since there is no plan in place to make this interesting, this would be the best RP option imo. (emphasis on the "IMO")

I was a streamer thats known to be a pretty good driver. And when you see with the pretty good drivers that its hard to lose 1 unit, its over and out for the rest. Regular players who aren't sweaty drivers have no chance.

Yo straight up i love watching mr.k and a lot of people on this server....but the nopixel pd is trash and annoying to watch....every time a cop shows up on scene im just gona stop watching...they are like PMS robots.....i went over to onyx to see how the pd was over there just to see if im the crazy one and nope.....there over there doing poliece work and having fun with each other and crims and civc....no wounder why all the great cops from nopixel 3.0 went over there....litterally all of em went over there...the pd in nopixel is trash and not fun to watch....they are killing the server...i miss when mr.K would get cought and there would be some funny banter some jokes back and fourth...now every cop wants to be the terminater with an attitude problem.....its just not fun to watch....like the cop holding K uncuffing him....i cant even stand hearing her speak....someone should tell them acting and RP'ing are different....ONYX are RP"ing cops while nopixel are acting like cops...big difference.....as soon as they got in the car and the cops started shooting i stoped the clip...i wont watch anything else in nopixel with cops in it....theres no difference between this and those videos on youtube audit the cops or something like that where the cops violate the law and are complete dcks and then get in trouble later either by a judge or a snr.officer....RP is supposed to be a fun getaway from real life...its just A game i get it but they are ruining the place i like to go to enjoy myself

Best era of cop RP on NoPixel was the Kyle Sheriff times. There was RP within the PD that made it a lot less SOP / Robotic. The Ssaab captained PDs always have a very weird awkward feel to them. I don't think the cops necessarily did anything wrong here as you can't allow taking cops hostage to become the new meta, but the PD is lacking in character for sure.
Yea Kyle was and still is great. CG taking there first L is whatever but you know Nopixel 4.0 PD as a whole is an issue just by the way everyone in the server (including many cops) complains about the way stuff has been handled up to this point.

Been a viewer since early 2.0, and I've been asking the same question eversince... Why the f*ck are y'all still on this dogsh*t server??? NoPixel will always attract the worst authoritarian characters into their Justice Department and PD because their selective abuse of power is literally encouraged and rewarded. There comes a time when you have to chose peace of mind over the immediate increased viewership that NoPixel provides.

Ssaab, no excuse for him, other than you watch his IRL actions, hes the worst to be in charge due to his W chasing attitude, not an RP attitude. Go watch the vid when he was justifying to Summit1G about things the cops were doing. That wasnt a "character", that was real personality and he was pretty smug at points, when he wasnt deflecting and subject changing when pressed on exacts.
Turner, hes got some IRL things right now, but hes having to blindly defend Slacks and Ruth based on what they are saying, not what is really happening. That said, he should know better.
CG and the cop issue, not going to lie, often, CG create the overall "air/culture" of the pd problem because RP has to be give and take, and CG pretty much just takes constantly in crim vs pd situations. Let me give you a perfect example. One or 2 of them in cuffs, 8 officers around them. No one in their right mind is going to run in and try to uncuff someone, they would dip out and call a lawyer. CG repeatedly do sbs stuff that is pretty much shitting on the cops, who wants to be poo'ed on all day? PD gets fed up, says "fine, you want to be that way", and here we go with the power creep of cars, items, player characteristics (ie running faster than non-PD players) to make up for the skill or lack thereof I should say. Already seeing that side as well, the Charger is an indestructible missile, literally yesterday watched it plow head on into a delivery van and several other cars, slam countless walls, then go FLYING off the side of a dam by the lake and 20 seconds later, is back on them. Problem is, its being used by morons with no skills so the outcome is the same, before long, Air1 will be back and out, and when thats not enough, Air2 will be out, etc etc etc. They make crutches for the pd because of lack of skill relative to the man in charge, Ssaab. Who by the way, writes the dumbest SOP's for an RP server... ever!
